My Slendertone System pads are looking a bit worse for wear!

2 weeks into the trial and my pads are looking a bit worn. The majority of use from the Slendertone System is whilst I am running so it has probably deteriorated the pads quicker then normal. The pads and belt do get pretty sweaty when exercising – I usually leave the belt and pads out to dry outside for a while until the next use. I am going to request some new pads. So far my stomach is feeling much firmer but no definition as yet! Ash over and out.

Sam gets into a routine with Slendertone System Abs

It’s now been well over a week since my first post. I have been using the Slendertone approx 5 times a week, Monday to Friday and resting at weekends. I find myself using it at work between 11-12pm every day.

The question you’re probably thinking is – has it done anything? After using the belt for a couple of weeks my stomach is definitely stronger and feels firmer. I wouldn’t say it looks much different but feels a whole lot better. For the next couple of weeks I will be pushing myself a bit harder and hoping for more definition.

….After all, we all want to look fit!

Matt’s keeping fit, Slendertoning and moving house!

I’ve been a bit slack with my “slendertoning” this weekend as I am in the middle of moving house and have been shifting a lot of boxes (all good exercise though). I did use it before the weekend and was finding it quite hard going on the higher settings, I think I still feel a slight difference although I can’t be sure. Now I’ve got the moving boxes out the way I shall be making more of an effort this week.

Slendertoning my way through EastEnders!

I was a couch potato yesterday evening, whilst watching EastEnders (an incredibly funny episode, I might add). I was in stitches caused by laughter rather than by the ab belt!

I cranked it up to intensity level 55, programme 5 for thirty minutes and I was so distracted by the drama in the Eastenders neighbourhood, I felt no discomfort and just let the Electrical Muscle Stimulation technology work those tummy muscles.

I charged the Slendertone remote control battery for the first time since I started the trial, which I think is pretty impressive. I expected these type of toning products batteries to die off very quickly, so I’ve been very impressed.

I still have not tried running with the toning belt. I’m not entirely sure I’ll feel comfortable wearing it at the gym. I had a chat with Rachael earlier. She had a go at running with it and has some feedback, which she will blog later.

Ashley wants to max out Slendertone this week

Unfortunately the Slendertone didn’t take preference this weekend as it was UK Bank Holiday. I hope to get more regular use out of the Slendertone System abs this week. 2 weeks into the test and I am feeling like I haven’t maxed out on the Slendertone as much as I could have. I now feel determined to make the difference this week as I have the opportunity to go running with the belt on, which I feel does more work rather then sitting at my desk at work. Ash over and out.

What others are saying about Slendertone

I was just having a quick look at Slendertone’s website and it was interesting to what others have to say overall about the Slendertone System Range. I thought it was quite interesting to read the statisitcs. In my opinion you always want to know whether things work before you invest in buying one.

The effect of Slendertone on my tummy muscles

I have to agree with Rachel regarding the comment she made on the Slendertone System-Abs toning belt last week. I have seen the definition on my obliques (sides of my tummy) but not the not as much on the rectus abdominus. Overall, very happy so far and we’re not even half way! It really is motivating me to push my fitness levels as well, which is great!

Slendertoning my way through the housework

I decided to kill two birds with one stone yesterday…. Slendertoning my tummy and hoovering at the same time… a great work out and a good tip for anyone who really has’nt got anytime. There was no discomfort and I have sucessfully progressed to programme 5 (the highest level, excluding the bonus levels), on intensity level 50, for thirty minutes. The great thing about the toning belt is that, you can use it anywhere, running, sitting, at work, walking the dog.

After my Slendertoning my way through the housework it really helped motivate me to go to the gym and I sucessfully completed a 4 mile (walk, jog & run), which I’m really happy about.

I’ve been to the gym three times this week and I really can feel the difference. I think the combination of excercise and the toning belt are beginning to redefine my tummy area… I’m very happy so far but still have a long way to go.

More info on Slendertone System-Abs- Levels and intensity

We’ve had a few enquiries regarding the Slendertone System-Abs and the various toning programmes and intensity levels.

  • Use Slendertone System-Abs, five times a week.
  • There are 7 toning programmes (5 core programmes and 2 bonus programmes). They recommend in the instructions you begin with programme one, the beginner level. The unit will automatically progress you through each programme up-to programme 5, which is the pro level.
  • With each programme as you increase the intensity throughout the session, you feel the muscle contractions getting stronger. They recommend in the instructions the harder you work your muscles the better the results, however you should reduce the intensity where you feel any discomfort. The intensity range is between 0-99.

Rachel get’s noticed after one week using the Slendertone System-Abs!

I thought I would let you know that I have received a comment from my boyfriend on my stomach! He thinks my obliques are becoming more defined and toned, but my Rectus Abdominus doesn’t seem to be as toned. This I thought was interesting because I have noticed on using my Slendertone belt you don’t seem to have any control over the level settings for the middle area, you can only increase or decrease the level of the side pads.
