I’m still trying to keep up my healthy regime! I still haven’t moved into the new house as yet so at the moment we are living off paper plates and without cooking facilities which isn’t ideal, it makes it very hard to prepare healthy dinners but I’m doing my best, when I’m not too stressed out I’m using the slendertone abs belt, I must admit I haven’t been using it every day, its hard to find time! Hopefully next week I can get back on track as we are supposed to be moving in tomorrow!

On the days I have used the belt I have felt an improvement and I can see a difference, but you definitely need to keep using it otherwise you start to slip back. I am still very impressed with the product.

Hello. I just purchased one of these. I have worn it for six days now. I have two kids and Im trying to help out my tummy from having that pouch. Just firm it and tone it. Im hoping by eight weeks it will help. Im desperate. Anyways I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this.. on about day three I had like contractions when I woke up from the belt. Like my stomach was tightening and letting go off and on.. and it has everyday since. Am I doing too much all at once or do other people experience this?

Hi there, I’ve asked Slendertone about your query they have said the following:

“At Slendertone our products are clinically proven to firm, tone and flatten. To date, we have not experienced such effects and our products are clinically developed, rigorously tested and trialled.

While using your Slendertone product, the intensity on the belt increases the toning intensity and muscle workout, as you increase the level.

As with all exercise there may be an element of muscle soreness. However, please do remember that it is important not to over exert yourself when using the muscle stimulation, you should be comfortable in the level you are using. To get the most from your Slendertone product it is recommended that you use the 30 day plan while starting out and increase the intensity of the toning from week to week. While you have not mentioned which product you are using, or indeed the intensity level you have chosen, I do recommend that you read our manual and in particular the do’s and don’ts section. It has important information and asks that you do not use your product until at least 6 weeks after the birth of your baby and to consult your doctor first. If you would like to speak to a Slendertone Customer Care assistant, or need more information about using the product, please call our Customer Care line on one of the following numbers:

    UK: 0845 0707777

    ROI: 1890 923388

    France:0810 247450

    Spain: 900 994467

    International:+ 353 1 8441016”

I hope this helps. They have recently set up a blog and they maybe able to help you with any further queries (http://blog.slendertone.com/). I’m not sure whether you are over using the product, but it may be best to follow their recommendations. The team have not had any problems like this. Keep in touch and let me know how you getting on.

    Thanks, Sap
