Karate Kids can feel the difference with Slendertone
I can see and feel a difference now, the muscles are tighter and stronger although perhaps not as visible. I
am still using the Slendertone belt and changing around the programmes and upping the level to almost the max. I am still amazed at the reaction each time the “wave” of contraction approaches and how the muscle react. I guess it does get a little addictive to experience the reaction.
I did see, briefly, the new advert on the televison the other day for Slendertone. The karate is going well and Kyusho training, having a stronger abdomen is good to fend off some of the attacks although strong muscles are not always an advantage as they can make some of the techniques more painful. The mind is a powerful tool where visualisation, colours, sounds, yin and yang, time of the day, and stances can all make a big difference to a particular technique. Only a few more weeks to our holiday in the sun and swimming /snorkeling in the Red Sea.

Salsa Chick’s progress with Slendertone Flex Max
Another week has flown by and once again I seem to be struggling with remembering to use the Flex Max.
Having spoken to my husband, Karate Kid, he says he can see it’s making a difference so that’s inspired me a bit more.
I am nevertheless using it but probably 5 days out of 7 (which is the recommendation by Slendertone), but before I was trying to use it every day!
I’m enjoying the pain (it feels like your stomach is being scrunched/pulled-in from the inside) using Programme 4 at max intensity (99). In fact one day I couldn’t even bear it at that intensity and had to drop it down. I still find it fascinating that it feels so much stronger when you’re sitting as opposed to standing. Anyone know why that is?
So, here’s to carrying on and hopefully seeing the difference by the time I get to week 8!
Salsa Chick’s slowing down with the Slendertone Flex Max!
Well I’m feeling a bit guilty as although I’ve probably still kept up with using the Slendertone Flex Max 5
times a week, for some reason I’m forgetting to use and it’s being delayed. No longer am I coming in and throwing it straight on… but instead thinking (around bedtime) ‘oh no, I haven’t used my toning belt’ so there I am at midnight trying to get my 30 minutes in.
Having said that, I’m delighted to be on to Programme 4 and have used it to the maximum intensity available at that level – 99 – for quite a few days.
I found it to be quite painful over the last few days, feeling like part of it was digging in; I suspected it was the pads wearing(?) and perhaps the digging in was of the metal studs. So anyway, I changed the Slendertone pads and it’s fine again.
My stomach could well be Slendertoning but I think my excess fat is covering it up nicely (or should I say, not so nicely)… so I’m still not sure what my progress is, but surely ‘pain is gain’ and I’m experiencing a bit of that at least.
Karate Kids progress with Slendertone Abs Belt- “By the time we go on holiday I should have that six pack”
Still using the Slendertone belt on a daily basis with the two suggested rest days, actually wearing this as I
type which is a bit strange as it is quite a violent reaction as all of the muscles contract and relax in rhythm. I believe the toning belt is working as the stomach muscles do feel stronger and tighter. It was nice at the weekend to sit in the garden and enjoy the sun whilst the belt did a work out. I did find though there was a little bit of discomfort. I did think again that the pads were wearing out but it may have been due to some extra moisture on the skin whilst sitting in the sun. The battery lasted well again and only just recharged it. By the time we go on holiday I should have that six pack and a bit of a tan to go with it if the weather holds out.

Week Two: Pippa’s progress with her Slendertone Toning Belt
I’ve been using the Slendertone belt for just over two weeks now – the time has gone really quickly! I’ve used
the belt everyday and have progressed from intensity 40 to 75 and now am on programme 4. I did use intensity 80, but in my tired state it was too much to take! If i’m honest, I’m not noticing that much difference, which is a bit disappointing, but hopefully in another two weeks it should be a different story.
With any luck I’ve got a gym induction this week, so will try and add at least three trips to the gym a week into my schedule, so the effects of the belt should become more visible.
In my last entry, I said I was having problems with the intensity of the belt not being even on each side – I’m just really blonde and didn’t realise you were meant to increase the intensity for left and right separately! well, there hasn’t been a drastic difference between my sides, so it’s all good! No harm done.
Think that’s all I have to say really. I hope to keep using the belt each day and increase the intensity when I can and we’ll see if it can live up to it’s expectations!
Karate Kid’s progress to Slendertone System Abs
Another week whizzed by, continuing to use the Slendertone belt and increasing the intensity. I have moved
up to programme 7 that gives a 40 minute workout which is less intense than programme 6 but say is for duration training. I will probably alternate between the two and try some of the lower ones.
I did feel some tingling down my left leg and must have had the belt in the wrong position to start with or maybe the pads are beginning to wear already after 10 sessions?
The stomach muscles certainly are working whilst using the belt but also the back and side muscles are noticeable. I am not sure if any results are seen as yet but I did a workout on my total gym yesterday and one particular exercise I do that involves the abs was a lot easier.
