Anna’s first impressions of Slendertone Abs
I have been struggling to tone my stomach for months now. I do some exercise during the week in the form of running or work-out videos (where the weather outside as been too cold or wet to run)
I was given Slendertone by my boyfriend as an ‘aide’ to help me achieve the results I have so longed for whilst trying to continue with my regular exercise routine.
My initial concern was whether the belt would be uncomfortable to wear. However, I found the Slendertone easy to set up, strap on and operate for the first time. I started off on the recommended 20 and worked my way up to 35 which felt slightly more intense but not uncomfortable. It took a bit of getting used to and I found the sensation was more tingly than anything. I hope that as the intensity increases over the week, that my body will adjust accordingly and that I won’t find the belt too uncomfortable to wear.
Rochelle – Week One, Slendertone First Impressions
My Slendertone System Abs arrived this morning. Somewhat ironic timing as I stumbled to the door a little worse for wear after over indulging a little too much the night before – not exactly the way I had envisioned kick-starting a ‘new me’.
My motivation for trialling the System Abs is fairly run-of-the-mill, I’ve recently gotten engaged and have just started wedding dress shopping. Nothing says ‘get in shape’ like standing in front of a wall size mirror whilst your friends stare at your body. Not to mention standing there practically starkers in front of the shop assistants whilst they get you in and out of the gowns.
I’m fairly lucky that when I’m able to motivate myself to exercise I tend to get in shape quite quickly, so am looking forward to seeing the results at the end of the trial. I’m also hoping that being on a trial will motivate me to watch what I eat (and drink!) a bit more and to actually use my gym membership for the first time this year … can always be hopeful anyway!
Salsa Chick is very lapse with the toning belt
I keep meaning to use my belt but for some reason can’t get the energy. Terrible excuse I know but it’s true. If I ever manage to pick it up again I’ll post!
