Ingrid’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs

This is my 4th week and I am very proud of myself for keeping to the daily routine..
I am at program 5 and the intensity is around 88 and still feels comfortable.
I feel really good and will be going ahead for a few more weeks.

I never believed that the result to be so visible so quickly..
The Slendertone really works well and makes a big difference which you can
see and feel.

Next week I am going to measure my tummy again!

Riona’s second week using Slendertone Abs

I got up to 50:50 this week on the Slendertone and definitely noticed a difference in how it felt. Once I went over 45 it became a more extreme feeling, but not necessarily a bad one! The itchy feeling I had in the initial days is gone and now I use the belt without thinking about it. I did miss a few sessions this week as I had visitors and was out of my normal routine, but am back on track now. A few people have said I’m looking a bit thinner, but I don’t know if I agree with them. I hope to have had more progress at the end of next week.

Denise’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Well I got the desired result today after only 3 weeks. My friend asked me IF I HAD LOST WEIGHT. Of course I was thrilled. I don’t think I have lost weight but I have noticably toned up . I have been using the slendertone belt about 3 to 4 times daily, it is not a chore, in fact it is very comfortable. If I go for a walk, doing housework or even driving the car I put the belt on and off I go. As this is a 4 week trial it will be interesting to see what the 4th week brings——- more toning —–

Martine’s fourth week using Slendertone abs

My fourth week with the System Abs belt has passed. I’m not feeling well this week, but I tried to use my Slendertone belt as good as I could. So far I managed to go up to level 75 for 20 minutes and the last 10 minutes I even managed to go to 80!
Level 80 is hard and not very comfortable though,so I’m only going up to this intensity when I’m having a good day. I’m very content with the results so far.
It’s a pleasure to feel my clothes are sitting much more comfortable.
If I would be able to do some exercise on top of this,I strongly believe the
results would be even better!
I’ll continue working hard next week and hope the results will keep improving.

Jo’s second week using Slendertone Shorts

I have used the shorts nearly every day and now on a intense setting of 85:85!! Its strange to see my butt clench but isnt an unpleasent experience. Also, I have noticed my backside is now lifted and much more firmer, instead of dragging on the floor. So I am chuffed! I am going on a girls holiday (they are tall and slim) and would not want to be the oompa lumpa with the cottage cheese bum out of the group. So using the Slendertone Shorts nearly every day is a must.

Admittedly I did not use at the start of the week as I had a nasty fever/bug illness and thought that a clenching/unclenching bum was not the best idea!! But I am back into using it now and its really easy to use while watching the TV. Dont think I would be able go running or do the housework with the Slendertone on but enjoying the experience and look forward to the end of four weeks.

Emily’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs

My diet has got back on track which has helped me this week to keep to the routine of using the belt. I also look forward to using it when I can see the difference it is making. The main difference I notice over the 4 weeks is the strengthening of my sides, these are normally called “my wobbly bits!” but now they are getting tighter and tighter. I am happy with the results. Again I have been using it while watching my shows as otherwise I get distracted and forget to use it, this way it has become a habit and I feel less guilty about lying slobbing about on the sofa when I am “exercising”!! I have got up to 65:65 now and actually I am not sure if it has any correlation but I have also managed to increase my running in the gym from 5km to 7km. I was thinking that maybe due to my increased core strength that running has become easier.

David’s first week using Slendertone Abs

I approached the Slendertone very tentatively as I have a fear of anything electrical and have even stopped frequenting certain department stores where static shocks are encountered at the till owing to their carpets.

After having the cursory flick through the instruction booklet, the ‘quick start’ leaflet dropped out to and I started charging the battery. I was a bit worried about getting the pads wrong and short circuiting ending up a frazzled wreck on the floor.

I made sure the power was at the lowest setting and grimaced in anticipation of an electric shock, I felt a slight tingle on one side. I thought I’d got it wrong and hadn’t anticipated that the current would provide a ‘pulse’ on the muscles to enable them to expand and contract, I know this is in the instructions but I’m a bloke and we tend to read the full info later on, if at all.

Gradually I increased the power up on both sides and actually started to like the expand/contract motion. Standing up felt the best position so I kept going and walked around a bit for 10 mins or so quite pleased with myself. I didn’t want to overdo it so left it at that.

The next day
I was somewhat sceptical after having done crunches and sit ups ad nauseum at the gym over the years but I was surprised the next day at a feeling around my abs. I was sore, but in a ‘post exercise way’ which is perversely pleasant and reminds you that you’ve done some good work.

to be continued…………….

Katie’s first week of using Slendertone Abs

I am always very sceptical about “claims ” made for particular products so I was pleased to be able to try out the Slendertone without cost to myself. The belt is easy to assemble, the batteries charge quite quickly and the booklet covers every thing I needed to know.

The pads are quite cold when first put against the skin but this is like the first dip into a swimming pool and the pads soon warm up. The sensation of the belt working are like contractions with a slight pins /needles feeling but I do not find that unpleasant or painful. I have found the best time to use it is either while I am cooking the evening meal, or while watching TV later in the day.

After 10 days I can honesty say that I have noticed a difference in my stomach. It is flatter than before and this is particularly noticeable first thing in the morning when I am dressing for work. My skirts and trousers certainly fit better. All I need now is a quick way of losing 1 stone in weight and I am set for the summer !

Simon’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs

Week 4 was the toughest yet. This week I have reached level 80 on the Slendertone. This is plain torture! I thought that the gradual build up would have prepared me for this, but nothing could have prepared me for level 80! I was doubled up in pain, I can’t comprehend how anyone or why anyone would want to use one of these at this level. I managed to endure it for a short period, and then reverted to level 70 for subsequent sessions. This is my final blog entry after 1 months use. As for the effects of Slendertone use and “does it work”? I would have to say that in this limited amount of time I have felt slight changes. I guess my abs are slightly stronger than they were 4 weeks ago. Has it reduced my gut? I would have to say no. I think the only solution for that is more exercise and fewer beers! There is no quick fix for this. As a compliment to exercise the slender tone could do as it says on the box and tone the abs, but it isn’t a quick fix for those who can’t be bothered to exercise. It doesn’t need to intrude on everyday life. I have been using it whilst working at my desk, cooking, ironing and doing many other daily activities. So in conclusion, would I recommend this to someone, do toning belts work? I would have to say sometimes and for the right sort of people. I wouldn’t recommend to my friends, but could see it working for the right sort of person. Will I continue to use it now the 4 week trial is over…probably…I’ll program the reminders into my diary soon…

Kerry’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs

In my fourth week I increased the intensity to 60:60 so that I can really feel it working. For the first couple of minutes the sensation always feels a little uncomfortable but I soon get used to it. Now that it has been 4 weeks since I started using the Slendertone Abs belt and I can honestly say that I can see a difference. My tummy is definitely firmer and looks more defined. Although I have to say that it hasn’t transformed my stomach as much as I was hoping for but I’m happy with the results and will continue to use it as I think can achieve even better results if I keep going. It is so so easy to use, I don’t dread doing it as I can just watch TV at the same time and it doesn’t require any effort on my part. Give me Slendertone over 100 sit ups any day!
