Emily’s first week using Slendertone
Monday 30th March: Have just received my slendertone unit and it is currently charging at work. I am quite excited but also very nervous about using this product. People at work, after seeing the first time blogs / videos really want me to try it out first at work so that they can all get a giggle, I am thinking about it….
I am quite unsure about how this will work this week as I really want to get a routine and stick to it. I am off to Amsterdam for work on Wednesday morning, which also happens to be my birthday and I am wondering weather I can wear it on the journey to the airport and then on the plane, let’s see if the 4 o’clock wake up changes my mind.
I was nervous that I didn’t have the unit on correctly but then once my muscles started having a disco without the music I knew it was on correctly. I started at 23, 23.
Tuesday 31st March: The second time I used the belt was a lot easier, not having to find and check I had correctly used the pads. I used it while getting ready in the morning and the only difficulty was finding a place to put the computer part. Maybe an arm strap could be considered? I cannot see or feel any difference yet but i have faith. I almost think I can see my sides toning up but I am not sure.
Sunday 5th April: I am afraid on Wednesday 1st April, I had every good intention of using my belt for the next 3 days giving myself the weekend off. Unfortunately I was sent home with an early flight from Amsterdam with either food poisoning or a bug so the last thing on my mind was to use the belt. Although after my weekend of relaxing and slowly getting my belly back into eating, I used it on a lower setting of 20:20 to make sure I used it as much as I could in the first week.
Monday 6th April: Using the belt this morning was exciting as I had missed using it properly; I used it back on 23:23. Thinking tomorrow will be better as I will be able to increase it. Looking forward to starting again and doing 5 days in a row without the sickness.
Rochelle’s second week using Slendertone Abs
After a great start, I must admit the end of last week was disappointing. Me that is, not the product. Whilst having the best of intentions I didn’t even make it through my first full week which is a bit of a concern. I have been using the belt when I get home in the evenings and, as with other forms of exercise, there seems to be a number of excuses or reasons why I don’t use it that day. To try and tackle this I’m moving the belt to become part of my morning routine whilst I’m getting ready for work That way at least I know I’m done for the day and won’t give it a miss if I work late or go out after work. Hope that works better!
Rebecca’s first week with Slendertone
I was so excited to receive my new slendertone in the post that I charged it up straight away and tested it out the next morning. It was such a hilarious/strange/ticklish feeling to begin with, I couldn’t stop laughing! I have never felt anything like it before! You start to get used to it pretty quickly and can really feel your muscles tightening and flexing, and can’t help but think that this really might work over time. That’s all the motivation I need! Since that first morning, I have used it every single day and because you don’t want to have a toned stomach and wobbly butt, I have been out power walking four times as well. The sun has been shining this week and summer must be on its way – I’m looking forward to really giving this slendertone trial a really good shot, and hopefully not being scared to bring the bikini out of retirement in a few months time. I must admit, I have had this week off work so have found it easier to find the time to exercise and throw on the slendertone, but I am starting a new job next week and don’t know whether that will change things?
Ingrid’s first week with Slendortone
I am a women of 61 years and always had a “normal” figure, but after the
menopause and an operation in september( for which I had to take a lot
of medication) my tummy is no longer what it used to be..
My son is getting married and of course I want to look at my best for this
special occasion:
I received the Slendertone Abs last week and started the trial last wednesday
(1/04) and am very excited with it and of course have great expectations.
I have read the booklet and recommendations and started the intensity stimulation
at 20, going up until 50 with no problem.
At the end of the first week the intensity was at a rate of 65 which was confortable..
