Rob’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Week 2
Having used the belt for a while now it seems pretty good. I’m away with work a fair amount, the slendertone is allowing me to exercise and read through work notes at the same time. It’s a change of pace as I would normally not have the opportunity to do any real exercise while I’m away. The only issue I had was a tingling sensation in one of my legs which caused a few moments of concern, on reading the manual properly I found I’d just placed the belt too low.
Anna’s thoughts on the second week of Slendertone
Having built the intensity level over the week up to 45, which no longer feels like a tingly sensation, rather more distinct muscle contraction, I am beginning to wonder whether my muscles will really start to hurt as the intensity goes beyond this or whether my body will adjust if I keep up regular use of the belt. I am hoping that my body will adjust accordingly, whatever happens I will endeavor to get through with this plan! I also hope that although my stomach feels tighter, that it will start looking flatter and toned by next week.
Anna’s first week of using Slendertone Abs
I have used Slendertone 6 times this week, gradually increasing the intensity by 5 every couple of uses. I am currently on intensity 45 and my muscles now feel slightly more tone and like they are actually contracting. I have also done skipping twice this week for 25 min each time instead of running or the work out videos (starting to get a bit bored of those!)… I was impressed with how long the belt lasted before needing to be re-charged, which was after my fifth session. My downfall this week however has been snacking on the odd crisps, chocolate and cake. I seem to need a sugar fix in between lunch and home time during the weekday so next week I will try and prepare more healthy snacks to take into work and save treats for just the weekend!
Natalie’s first week using Slendertone Abs
I have been using my Slender tone since last Thursday, 31st of March. The first time I used it, I used the guidance from the introduction leaflet. I set the level to 10 for twenty minutes and then moved it up to 15 for ten minutes. I could only feel the vibrations on one side of my stomach and was worried it was not working correctly. The next day I didn’t feel any different but I do walk daily and I presume the more I use it and the higher the intensity the more effect it will have.
I have used it three times since then and the vibrations are now on both sides. I don’t feel it in the middle but perhaps that comes when I adjust the voltage to a higher level. I am hoping that the slender tone will flatten my stomach as this is my one problem area and although I eat a balanced diet I still feel this area needs work.
Hopefully by next week I will feel some difference in my muscle tone.
Gabi’s first week of using Slendertone Abs
My first week of using the Slendertone has been very enjoyable. It is very easy to use and set up, I had it up and running by the time I got home from work.
The display is really easy to understand, with very few buttons to press, telling you how many sessions you have done and which level you should be aiming towards. I achieved the target level in just one week of using Slendertone which is a great motivator and very rewarding!
I especially liked the fact it gives you your target level to reach at the start of a session but allows you to control the level manually, so you can increase or reduce the level depending on how comfortable you feel with it. I started off at a low level but adjusted it to my preference as I began to feel more relaxed.
The actual feeling of the Slendertone working on your muscles is pleasant one-it is more of a tingle than anything else and once you get used to it and start to relax, increasing the level comes quite naturally.
Aaron’s first week of using Slendertone
I have been using it for about a week. I’m definitely noticing the difference – my stomach’s already flatter and starting to get more defined. I have been using it on the maximum setting and it is a bit uncomfortable but I’m getting used to it now. I’m looking forward to seeing the difference it will make when I’ve used it for a longer time.
Lisa’s first week of using Slendertone Abs
I have used it a few times this week and when I got it started first it felt a little strange as this is the first time I have used a product like this. For the first time using it I had it at 25 and have been increasing it since. After Easter Im going to use this while I go walking to increase the chances of toning up.
Shelley’s First week using Slendertone Abs
When I heard about working my abs while doing nothing, I thought finally Utopia has been discovered!! After opening my machine box, I was a little unsure about the gel like sticky pads that were to stick to my stomach and all the boxes and parts…
But I was pleasantly surprised at how simple set up. Literally took two minutes! The sensations from the electric pulses were strange at first and I was aware of the machine while it was on. But as I progressed through the week, I noticed that once I started my session I would be busy doing things around the house or cooking and not realise my session had ended until I was finished my chore. Definitely could feel my abs had been worked, which was a nice feeling. Very motivating.

Sophie’s first day using Slendertone
Day 1: I’ve been looking forward to it arriving for weeks and here it is! All of my flatmates gathered round to coo over it, and help me work out how to put it together. The only slightly distressing aspect is the knowledge that it’s not going to do the impossible- make me sporty and fabulous immediately with no effort. The excitement of having it all out on the kitchen table makes me want to use it straight away, but sadly I have to charge the battery first. Hopefully I’ll still be feeling as enthusiastic tomorrow!
Simon’s first week using Slendertone Ab’s
Having just completed my first week of Slendertone usage I can say that I am enjoying the routine, but have not yet seen any noticeable changes. I have now worked up to level 40, having done a couple of 20’s and 30’s and have been changing program with each use. Initially it was a strange sensation on the skin and a little irritating, but I soon got used to it. My first session I spent some time reading the manual and then relaxed watching the tv whilst it buzzed away. I have now got far more used to using the Slendertone and am using it whilst working, and moving around. I have found the level 40 quite aggressive and approach week two with slight angst.
