Denise’s first week using Slendertone

I have been using Slendertone for 4 days now and all is going well.To start with I followed the instructions and used it for 20mins on the first day, then a rest day, 25mins on day 3 and yesterday I knew I was going to be on my feet all day so I put the belt on in the morning and used it throughout the day ( maybe five 20mins sessions )
Using the Slendertone certaintly gives me the feeling of wanting to lose weight and it gives me the stimulus to do so. I am Apx. 5feet 6inches and I weigh 9st 12lbs. I could lose a half a stone and tone up so I am hoping this will help me.

Suzanne’s first week of using the Slendertone Abs system

This is much more efficient than the Flex Abs where the battery compartment was very awkward and difficult to put in and take out the batteries. You could feel the signals much stronger. I haven’t used the Slender Tone Flex Abs for a couple of years

First day I found it irritates my skin and feel abit sore. As the days progressed it has disappeared. I can’t see any improvement first week which is expected.

Martine’s second week using Slendertone

My second week with the System Abs belt has passed.
I’m a bit disappointed as I haven’t seen any visible results so far.
However,I keep doing my stomach exercises every day and hope results will show soon.
Despite having fibromyalgie and CVS I can say I feel good and have no pain, which is great!
I’m looking forward to next week and hope to see a better result at my body.

Emily’s second week using Slendertone

This week was a lot easier to find the 30 mins each day to do the Slendertone belt, with the bank holiday weekend. I managed to use it more whilst doing other things such as cooking, hovering and general pottering around the house. I have now gone up to 45:45 and I am feeling achy the next day which is a nice feeling. I think I can see a difference in the muscle tone but am not quite sure. Have been combining this with exercise and healthy diet, this seems to all be working together.

Kerry’s second week of using Slendertone

I went away for the Easter weekend but managed to take the belt with me as it is quite light and folds away neatly into a little bag. On Saturday I ate some chocolate and then regretted it later as I was going out with the girls. So I put the belt on whilst I was doing my hair and make up and that made such a difference. My stomach always looks so much more defined straight after I’ve used it so I felt much more confident when I went out and wasn’t concentrating on holding my stomach in the whole time!

Simon’s second week of using Slendertone Abs

Week 2
Week two now complete I feel a lot more comfortable using the Slendertone and have got into a good routine. I have set reminders in my Blackberry to use it and what level to set it to, so have followed the schedule almost immaculately. The only one problem that I have seen with the kit so far is that there are problems with power retention. I fully charged the battery one day this week and then went to use it the following day only to find that the battery level was already on 2/3rds despite not having been switched on since the charge. This week has seen my increase from level 40 to 65. I find levels over 50 very aggressive and quite uncomfortable. I am unsure how I should be using the levels. Whether I should be on the same level for the entire 30 minute program, or work up to the highest level of the day and then warm down afterwards. Due to the discomfort of the higher levels I have been doing the latter. I find that I can take the higher levels for 5 to 10 minutes of the 30 minute session and tend to stick around the 50 mark now for the rest of the session. Tonight I am expected to hit level 70. I am not sure how that is going to feel! I do sense a slight improvement in my abs strength since starting the program 2 weeks ago, and look forward to seeing further improvements over the next 2 weeks.

Joanna’s first week using Slendertone Abs

Day 1
Intensity: Start 10. Mostly at 15. Max: 19 (for last five minutes)

Day one of use was delayed by me being confused by all the diagrams and instructions. Not that they were unclear, but more that I was slightly nervous at the thought that I was about to send electrical currents through my body. Took photographs of my stomach front and side on to compare results after 4 weeks!
Applied the belt and turned the unit on; had to reposition the belt and pads after a minute or two, as they were tingling down my hips, then increased the intensity as I couldn’t feel much.
Did a 20 minute ‘workout’ and lo and behold, upon removing the pad, discovered that all my muscles felt like they’d been worked out. No redness, but some residual tingling on my hip bone where the pad had originally been incorrectly placed. Am very curious to try again tomorrow!!

Day 2
Pumped up the intensity to 22 to start and 24 for halfway through and 25 for the last five minutes.
The sensation is much stronger on the left hand side of my body than the right… not sure why this could be? Once again, after the 20 minutes, the surface of my stomach is a little bit itchy. And I can feel that my muscles have been used, much more so than yesterday.

Days 3-5 -
By Day 5 I used the Slendertone at 32 for the full 20 minutes!
The first week has been good; am certain I can feel a difference already and I think next week I will go for longer than 20 minutes – or alternatively, (once my unit has recharged) use the Slendertone at a higher rate more consistently to push myself. I’m used to the sensation now, so see no reason not to!

Sheila’s first week using Slendertone Abs

Sunday – Set up system and attached pads ready to go, then realised that I hadn’t charged it up! Put it on charge for three house and did first session. Didn’t feel anything.

Monday – Did second session on programme 1 as instructed in the instruction book, but still didn’t feel anything.

Tuesday – Decided to up the ante – and put it on programme 3 – felt a tingling sensation in waves, so guess I need it a bit higher.

Wednesday – Did the higher programme again and increased the strength during the session, could now really feel it. Skin a bit pink afterwards.

Thursday – Had a rest day as felt a slight ache in my stomach muscles

Friday – Really felt it at this session – and am beginning to think it might make a difference.
Have measured myself but no difference in waist yet. However it is having a good phsycological effect in that I am eating less and also doing power walks, so the whole lot combined should definitely have a positive effect!

Saturday – Another rest day as muscles felt sore!
