Anna’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Having worked the intensity up to level 55 which feels just about bearable for me, I think I’m going to have to increase the level of intensity by just three levels every couple of uses this week as the sensation is a lot more powerful than what I have become used to.

I have eaten a lot better this week which shows what better planning does. My new motto is If you fail to prepare, then prepare to fail. I have also done a lot more cardio this week, some skipping, running and walking; and also going to check out the local badminton club next week – my motivation has spurred me on to find a new team sport! I have used the belt 6 times this week, half an hour each time and level of intensity increased to 63 which is a little uncomfortable. I am pretty impressed that I’ve not had to charge the belt this week and have noticed my upper abdominals looking more toned. Having now reached the half-way point of the challenge and happy with the progress I am making, I hope I will see double the results by the end of the challenge in 3 weeks time!

Kate’s second week using Slendertone Abs

Week Two
I used the belt four times this week so not complete success yet. I think this is mainly getting used to the idea that I really can use the belt as I do other things. You could probably even wear it under your clothes when you go out if you had trousers a size bigger and a baggy jumper to hide the gizmo. I haven’t had the courage to actually test that theory yet though!

I have deliberately kept the intensity slightly lower this week at between 26 and 29 dubries but still for 30 minutes. That has suited me and I’m now ready to up the intensity a little more next week. I’ve used the belt whilst tidying my flat and whilst getting ready for work. I’ve even used it whilst eating a light supper in front of the telly. Not sure if you are supposed to but there were no ill effects! However, it does feel a bit wrong to be exercising your abs whilst at the same time eating a (small) slice of coffee walnut cake for pudding!

Jo’s thoughts on the Slendertone Flex Shorts

I have had the Slendertone Flex Shorts for nearly three months, waiting in my cupboard to be used. This is partly due to being very lazy and the other part that in my technophobic state of mind, I was worried I would not actually be able to work the thing!

Good news is, the quick guide was simple and placing the pads in the correct places was easy. I was impressed (and relieved!) how quickly I got the Flex shorts ready to be used. First time I used the shorts, the pads did feel abet icky and admittedly the shorts were a bit awkward to put on. On my third time though it was a lot easier and I am now on setting 75.

The feeling is not painful, it’s more of a tingling then anything although I have noticed that now I am on a higher setting my bum is clenching a lot harder! So I am sure that with continued use the experience could get a little uncomfortable but it’s all worth it to get a Kylie Minogue backside!

Shelley’s second week using Slendertone Abs

This week I actually had a trip booked for the Easter weekend to Florence and Tuscany. Initially I was concerned about how my Slendertone machine was going to fit into the trip and would be a nuisance and potentially ruin my holiday but I threw it in my hold luggage and thought we’ll see how we go.
I was pleasantly surprised. Either as I prepared for a day of sight seeing or came home to relax after a day of Wine touring the Chianti region or a Tuscan cooking class, it wasn’t a big deal to strap on my Slendertone. I upped the pulsage to 45 and remained at a 30 minute session. The best part was I didn’t feel guilty about all the pizza and ice cream I consumed :-) win win situation!

Ingrid’s thoughts on the Slendertone Abs System

I finished my first week…. I used Slendertone nearly every day whilst watching
television in the evening.

I charged the battery for the first time after 5 sessions.

I travel a lot and(luckily for me) the Slendertone is so small that I am able
to take it with me wherever I go.

When using the Slendertone I really feel my muscles working and by
putting the intensity up it`s a strange ticklish feeling but you get used to
it and feel comfortable.

I am very motivated and can’t wait to see the result after 4 weeks!

Anne’s second week of using the Slendertone Abs System

Week two and all is going well…seems like a habit now to use the belt each day and have to remember to do my rest days. I’m on to programme 3 which is longer, and on a much higher setting but it definitely packs a punch! I really like the fact that you can wear the belt while doing other things – find that it goes much quicker if I’m distracted! One thing I have found out is that using it too soon after dinner makes me feel a bit sick…definitely worth doing on an empty stomach! and I still hate those gel pads. I feel encouraged though – I think that I’m seeing the beginnings of results…bring on week 3!

Eddie’s first week of using Slendertone Abs

I’ve just finished my first week of using the Slendertone. I’m happy with the progress so far, I think it’s making a visible difference. It felt a little strange at first, but I actually quite like the sensation of it. I’m using the slendertone in conjunction with some daily exercises (push ups) so it’s difficult to tell exactly how much the slendertone is contributing, but overall I’m happy – we’ll see how things are at the end of the four weeks trial!
