Eddie’s third week using Slendertone Abs

For the third week of the slendertone trial, I’ve been using one of the more intense programs and setting the unit at 85% which is about as high as is comfortable – setting it any higher is bearable but not very pleasant for any longer than a few minutes! I’m noticing some changes in muscle structure but I think I need to do some more jogging to lose a bit of the extra fat so that I’ll notice it more!

Niamh’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Not seeing much of a difference from week 2, wondering should I be spending more time on it than the programme sets, on the other hand the convenience of the machine without the endurance of a gym session keeps me interested. Feeling a little soreness in the abs area but not noticing much difference. Going to push on to programme 6 for week 4 and increase the input a little further.

Catherine’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Started week 3 on program 4 with the indicator up at 80 for days 13, 14, and 15 and then increased to 85 for the latter part of the week. Again did it in the mornings and at lunch time at my desk and then 4 of the 7 days went running with it on in the evenings. Felt it was easier to run with it on then just sit there. My stomach muscles were really sore. But don’t see a huge change in my stomach shape, doesn’t seem to be really getting toned (no difference from week 3)… I thought I would see more results at this stage. For week 4 I am going to move on to program 5 and continue that for the week with the indicator at 85.

Daniel’s first week using Slendertone Abs

This is my first week of using the Slendertone belt, and I have to say from the start that I am pretty impressed. I guess you could say I’m an active guy who goes to the gym at least twice a week, and also do quite a few karate lessons each week. My main focus of using the abs belt is to increase the amount of crunches I can do from 250 to around 500 in the 4 weeks.
I am now almost at the end of my first week. I have been using the system-abs belt twice a day (30 minutes each), every day and gradually have been increasing the intensity. I started off at level 35 and then have increased this gradually over the week, as my muscles feel they can take a bit more (I am now working at level 60).

You can definitely feel the muscles contracting and expanding. If all goes well at the end of the week I will check to see how many crunches I can now achieve.

Michelle’s second week using Slendertone Abs

Week 2 and have felt an improvement but nothing noticeable to anyone else. I have increased the time and the intensity progressively over the last week and find it much more beneficial than the lower intensity. The rubber pads might need replacing soon though, the only downfall so far is that there wasn’t a second set of pads included.

Joanna’s Fourth Week using Slendertone Abs

Week four, has so far been my most erratic in terms of usage.

I only used the Slendertone 3 times, out of the week, due to illness. However, each session (30 minutes at 50 intensity) has prepared me to move the intensity up for next week. I have also compared photographs I took of my stomach during week 1 with some I took at the start of the week. The difference is subtle, but remarkable. Using the Slendertone has defined the shape of my waist, trimming some excess off from just above my hips. There is also improved muscle definition; not quite a six pack, but I can see that muscles live under the skin, whereas before I would never have believed it! To conclude; I would completely recommend the Slendertone to anyone that wants to firm up without having to stop and do stomach crunches. I am a convert – after having felt sceptical at the start – and have been telling everyone I know about it. It is easy to use, allows you to do other things while you are wearing it, and definitely gives results.

Nell’s first week using Slendertone Abs

On my first weeks trial I expected it to be quite uncomfortable. However the opposite was true. I started at 20 but quickly went to 60. I feel my muscles being pulled in without any use of energy on my part. It is great to know that I am getting all this toning up while enjoying my favourite soap! Whereas I walk on a daily basis my tummy muscles didn’t benefit, so I am looking forward to having Slendertone tone me up in that area.

Denise’s fourth week and thoughts on Slendertone Abs

End of the four week trial, and certainly the easiest exercise routine I have ever carried out. I have used the belt every day this week and sometimes 3 times a day. My stomach has toned and I feel like I am getting the desired results.I will continue using this daily as I have got so used to it and it makes me more willing to watch what I eat. I have enjoyed using the slendertone belt and will continue to use it in the future.

Davids second week using Slendertone Abs

After getting over my fear of electrocution which was completely unfounded I proceeded with the belt at daily intervals. Following 4 sessions of approximately 20 minutes I could definitely feel my abs the following day, very similar to having performed a lot of crunches. Having been relatively inactive over the last 2 months whilst studying for some professional exams my body fat has increased. I’m hoping that as I am now in a position to spend more time on exercising that I will be able to ‘shed my winter coat’ and that the abs will be lurking shyly underneath. I’m sure I read somewhere, probably in Men’s Health, that the elusive 6 pack is definitely there but hidden by the the top layer.
