Brendan’s first week using Slendertone Abs

I started using it a week ago. I found the instructions very straight forward and not too longwinded. Before I used the Slendertone, I was quite sceptical, wondering what’s wrong with normal sit ups? I have never been a fan of sit ups and I found this a lot more enjoyable. It also means you can relax and watch tv or read a book.

I started on a low setting but gradually built up over the next few days. I have tried to increase the level until it becomes uncomfortable. I was up to 70 yesterday, whereas last week I started around 35. In the first week, I have already felt a difference through very little hassle. So far, I think these things are excellent and interested in seeing the difference in a months time.

Carolines first week using Slendertone Abs

I’m trying the Slendertone system because I find it difficult to get to the gym. I do a bit of yoga and horse riding and I want to start running, but need something to specifically attck the stomach.

I started using the belt over the last bank holiday weekend, but haven’t been very disciplined about following the instructions…must try harder! I forgot to have a day off inbetween the first two uses, got into the habit of using it and then was away from home for three nights and didn’t take it with me. I’m thinking that I need to start again from scratch really.

Measuring my waist would have been just too depressing, so success will be when I can fit comfortably into a pair of particularly problematic trousers. I’m also hoping that stronger stomach muscles will help with posture and control for horse riding. Hoping to start seeing a difference by the end of May.

The sensation was familiar when I first switched on. I’ve had this sort of treatment in salons and so knew what to expect. There was a bit of a nauseous sensation after use the first couple of times, but that seems to have gone now as I’ve got used to it again.

I’ve worked up to 25 minutes and strength of 50 and it feels as if it is doing more now. At first when it’s just tingly it was difficult to imagine that it was doing any good, now I get the sensation of light contractions. I’ll try to keep to a schedule this week and then try my trousers at the end of weekend!

Owens second week using Slendertone Abs

Well I’ve done three sessions in the first week and no rippeling abs as yet, so we’ve established the Slendertone isn’t actually a ‘miracle’ machine. I think there is definite progress though. The workouts were so easy. I have the belt in a drawer beside the couch. When I sit down infront of the box in the evening I just strap it out and away I go. I’m still at a low enough setting, but I can feel the muscles contract with each cycle.
Trying to follow the plan as closely as possible. I’ve upped the sessions to 5 a week and am nudging up the levels. It’s hard to resist whacking it up to full power but so far the will power is keeping me at bay! Maybe it’s the knowledge that the muscles are being used or maybe it works that quickly but I definitely feel like my stomach is firmer.
Not rushing out to buy all new jeans just yet but, two weeks in and I’m impressed!!

Cathy’s second week using Slendertone Abs

Week two of the Slendertone belt and I have progressed to level 2 (25 minutes rather than 20) and moved the intensity gradually up to 30. Can definitely feel it doing something to my stomach muscles, though I don’t quite have a full six pack yet (to be fair, it doesn’t promise miracles I guess..!). With summer fast approaching and scanty clothes / bikini beckoning I think I need to step it up a notch again next week. Still finding the belt very easy to use, particularly if I keep it next to my bed and do it last thing at night, which also keeps me awake long enough to read more than one chapter of my book, so a double benefit! More next week.

Patrick’s second week using Slendertone Abs

In my second week of using the slendertone belt, I have started to see more definition, I currently do some ab work at the gym and after topping it up with a session of slendertone each night I am starting to see a difference. It has been painfree and I have been able to increase the level progressively. The slendertone pads are still working perfectly, It says that they have a 4 week life span, so it will be interesting to see how they are in a couple of weeks. Just checked the website and slendertone are doing an offer on replacement pads, might buy some to stock up!

With a busy life, I have found the slendertone belt a perfect way of helping me not miss any abdominal training, as the belt is very light and highly portable.

Sophia’s third week using Slendertone Abs

I haven’t used it in a week and figure that seeing as I’m planning on having a lazy Sunday in the house I should try again with it to make up for the fact I’m not going to be leaving the house! I also wanted to see if I could handle putting the level up a bit. I definitely find it a bit uncomfortable to use, but the good thing is that it makes me more aware of my tummy for the rest of the day, and makes me want to hold myself better.

Rebecca’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Week 3 and I have increased the intensity to 80 on level 5 – alright, abs of steel! I am slightly competitive, so it is exciting to see how much I can handle. I don’t know if I can see any major results yet, but I have been quite naughty over the past few weeks with eating lots of snacks and nibbles! I think my lower back/hips have tightened up actually and I am not so worried about the dreaded “muffin-pants” look, so that’s exciting. I am normally a “seven day wonder” kind of girl, getting bored of new things quite easily, but my slendertone has not fallen into that category – it is just too easy to use it and there are absolutely no excuses. I have just signed up to run my first 5k race in September – this is going to be the summer of fitness and toning. Bring it on!

Nick’s second week using Slendertone Abs

Second week (though really it’s the third!)

Have been away so haven’t been able to use the belt as much as I would have liked, but am now up to programme 3 and can get the belt up to about 85-90. I’m finding the strength quite a challenge but as it’s so easy to let it do what it does, I’m persevering with it.

I can feel that the belt is working, my abs feel tighter and more controlled, but I still need to lose weight to make sure that it is visible!

Sarah’s first week using Slendertone Abs

1st time using it I kept it low enough on about 25, bizarre feeling to start with but quickly got used to it. Quite easy to use and unobtrusive, I was able to walk around the apartment and start dinner etc. The 25 minutes goes by quickly enough.

Have used it 3 times since and normally start off on about 30 and then work up to about 45 throughout the 25 minutes. Its easy enough to work into your routine although I haven’t been able to do it 5 times in one week yet.
