Carolines first week using Slendertone Abs

I’m trying the Slendertone system because I find it difficult to get to the gym. I do a bit of yoga and horse riding and I want to start running, but need something to specifically attck the stomach.

I started using the belt over the last bank holiday weekend, but haven’t been very disciplined about following the instructions…must try harder! I forgot to have a day off inbetween the first two uses, got into the habit of using it and then was away from home for three nights and didn’t take it with me. I’m thinking that I need to start again from scratch really.

Measuring my waist would have been just too depressing, so success will be when I can fit comfortably into a pair of particularly problematic trousers. I’m also hoping that stronger stomach muscles will help with posture and control for horse riding. Hoping to start seeing a difference by the end of May.

The sensation was familiar when I first switched on. I’ve had this sort of treatment in salons and so knew what to expect. There was a bit of a nauseous sensation after use the first couple of times, but that seems to have gone now as I’ve got used to it again.

I’ve worked up to 25 minutes and strength of 50 and it feels as if it is doing more now. At first when it’s just tingly it was difficult to imagine that it was doing any good, now I get the sensation of light contractions. I’ll try to keep to a schedule this week and then try my trousers at the end of weekend!
