Marks fourth week using Slendertone Abs
Final week of the 4 week trial, went very well over the 4 weeks, up to level 5 and intensity 90 to 99, depends on what time of day it is. Really found it does help, my waist has got smaller, had the pads on the last setting by the time I finished, I started off at the middle setting, I think maybe a bit more defined and defiantly stronger. I will keep on using it when I’m back in full training as I find it a good aid, just wish the intensity could be increased.
Overall review:
does it work – Yes
good features – Being rechargeable
down side – Pads wear out after 6 to 8 weeks, but only cost €12 to replace
would I recommend it – yes, a worth while piece of equipment, can be used to help training and also if you don’t get out, you don’t feel as guilty.
Gabi’s third week using Slendertone Abs
I have successfully been able to keep up with my target levels to date, Slendertone has become very easy to use and I can see the results on my ab muscles. It has motivated me to stay active and eat healthy and I feel a great sense of achievement each time I turn the Slendertone on as it tells me how many sessions I have completed. I wouldn’t use it while out jogging or walking around the house-I much prefer to stay still and relaxed as the higher the level goes, the more intense it feels.
What is also a great motivating aspect is the fact it tells you the highest level you have reached so far. A great way to discipline yourself into increasing the levels-rather than reducing them to what feels comfortable.
Kerrys fourth week using Slendertone Abs
Well I have now been using the slendertone for just over 4 weeks and I am a convert – and would strongly recommend to any one else. It is an easy way to tone up and get a significantly better and flatter tummy – without all the effort of dull and boring situps! I totally lose my motivation whilst doing sit ups – get bored and stop – with the slendertone you do not have this issue – you can get on with daily life and it just fits around what you are doing – but works the abs at the same time – who could ask for more!!!!! A great way to a better body but without all the huffing and puffing!!!!
I am a convert!!!!
Dan’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs
“Well here I am reaching the end of the four week Slendertone challenge of increasing the amount of sit ups I can do to 400 in one go – with the aid of the Slendertone System Abs. For the last week I have had the system abs up to the maximum level of 99, two times a day – and wearing the belt before/after or during physical exercise – including running, and abs workouts such as the plank, off to the sides, sit ups, crunches, jackknifes and many others.
Last night was d-day for me to test whether I could reach my goal of 400 sit ups after 4 weeks. Each week I steadily managed to increase the number I could achieve before having to stop. I hit my target last night of 400! – I am extremely pleased with the Slendertone belt and has definitely had a helping hand along with the exercises in making my abs a lot stronger, and making sit ups and other abs exercises a lot easier – making my body push itself each time to the limit.
I would have to say that I think anyone could do the same, with exercise and the use of the belt at the same time doubles the effectiveness of the belt – with all round good looking results.”
Mark’s third week using Slendertone Abs
Into week 3 of 4, got into a very good routine now and find the belt very easy to use, the only issue is getting it in the right position but I seem to have that sorted. Up to level 5 and intensity of 99, which is a good work out. Found the pads are wearing quickly enough, only had the belt about 7 weeks, so think that this could be a down fall, I religiously put the covers back on each time I finish. I have found that my muscles have got stronger, can do a lot more crunches and other exercises with ease now. Still not sure on the definition side of things thou, will wait and see what week 4 brings…
Sarah’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs
I managed to work my way up to 80 on my 3rd week of using Slendertone. Out of the 30 minute session I’d only be on 80 for about half of it so in my final week I tried to up the amount of time spent at 80.
I managed to do it for at least 20 minutes and then 25 for my last 2 sessions.
Abs are definitely stronger and slightly more toned (although I should probably cut down on chocolate to see the full effects). I definitely plan on continuing to use Slendertone until I go on my holidays at the end of July!
Davina’s first week using Slendertone Abs
The Slendertone came in a compact box and I found it really simple to put together. After charging the battery, I was ready to start.
I was a bit nervous trying the slendertone for the first time but I had nothing to fear. I like the fact it starts at zero, and you just build up the instensity as you feel comfortable. I go to the gym a few times a week so I was able to get up to 65 (out of 90) in the frist week.
I felt like it was toning the olique muscles better than I do with the standard sit up. What i like most about it so far is that it’s hands free and you can just carry on with what you were doing. I usually use mine when I am getting ready for bed.
I feel good for using it, and I am going to the gym as well, so it’s hard to tell exactly what’s attributable to the gym vs slendetone but I am feeling good about my stomach this month- so I will definitely be continuing to use it.”
Riona’s fourth week using Slendertone Abs
I have recently completed week four and I am pleased with the progress I made using the Slendertone. I managed to get up to 80:80 in the final week, encouraged as I was by the reduction in my dress size. Since I finished week four, I was away for 2 weeks without my Slendertone belt, and I must admit that those new trousers are feeling a lot tighter now than they were before my holiday. I did abandon my healthy eating plan during the two weeks also so I can’t be sure, but I plan to go back to using the Slendertone this week just in case! Overall, I found it quite easy to use, once I got used to it and while I can’t say definitively if it had any effect, I do plan to use it into the future.
Jo’s third week using Slendertone Abs
Admittedly I have been rather slack in using the Slendertone for the past week. It was going so so well. For two weeks I was using it once/twice a day and seeing real changes in my abs. Clothes were hanging more nicely and when I wore a t shirt, I had some ab definition showing through instead of the usual overdue muffin top baby hanging out! I think the third week has not been as good because the sun has been shining and I have been out with friends until very late. Then I am tired and collapse on my bed, too lazy to even use the belt although it is really easy and quick.
I have got back into using the Slendertone though after indulging in to much pizza and wine at the weekend, and seeing a bloated slumped figure stare back at me as I look in the mirror. At the end of the day it is a vanity thing, we all want to look better naked and I do not have the budget to hire out Gok Wan. So, back to using the Slendertone twice a day now! I sit at my desk all day and so there really is no excuse for such lazy behavior.
Mark’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Into my second week now, had a few issues with the machine there, with tingling in my legs, just had to move the pads in a bit more, maybe it shows that me waist has shrunk a bit. Up to level 5 program now and finding it gives a good work out, also up to 90 / 95 in the intensity. I find I need to do it twice a day to feel that I got a good work out, but have found that I’m able to do more crunches now and my stomach muscles are a lot tighter. Hard to say on the defined front, but we will see at the end of the 4 weeks. Aim to push up to intensity level 99 this week, just a bit worried that I will want a harder work out, but I will be up to the maximum level.
