Michael’s challenge with Slendertone System Abs
I have found that this week has been a real challenge with me Slendertone System Abs.
I’ve got to be disciplined a lot more than I have been but still found time to use it twice. Regular use will result in better, more consistent results which long term is what I am after. I am using the belt at quite a high level for which I am proud of, as someone once said “No pain, no gain”. Over the weekend it is my intention to squeeze a couple of toning belt sessions in along with the Gym and football on Sunday morning.
Will keep you post of future news next week on my slendertone toning belt journey to a trimmer me!!
Chris notices a visible difference with Slendertone System Abs
So it’s my third week into using the Slendertone System Abs and I am starting to notice a real difference in shape of my abs, definitely getting more defined as I lose weight. I used the BMI machine at the gym again, but on Sunday morning this week, my weight is now at 13st 7lb and my BMI is down to 27. Had a change in my gym routine last week due to work commitments, I went Monday Thursday and Sunday morning, with the week visits being a mix of cardio and weights, but Sunday morning was a pure cardio session.
I am now starting to use the Slendertone toning belt a bit more, generally using it everyday now, either whilst watching TV or doing things around the house. I have now upped the strength level to 66 when I used it yesterday, but have noticed there is less aching after use, maybe I am getting use to it and will have to do 2 session at a time – I will read up on this and see what they say.
Welcome Michael to the Slendertone System Abs
To say I was sceptical would probably be an understatement and the shock of the cold pads my skin for first time made me think; was this really for me?
However a week and half in and I’m starting to see the impact of the Slendertone toning belt, I’ve got slightly more definition, at least that’s what I hope it is.
I’m using the Slendertone belt coupled with going to the gym on the other 2-3 days of the week. Hoping to get into shape ready for what I hope will be a warmer summer than we had last year. I have found it useful when I’ve had spare time waiting for dinner to cook, whilst watching television, almost any spare time when not doing anything could be set aside as ‘Toning Time’ and it can all be over in an episode of Eastenders and you feel better for giving your stomach a work out when perhaps we’ve all been guilty of switching off or putting it off to another day. Like anything you have to put the effort in to get the benefit out and you have to discipline yourself into getting into a routine and for a lot of people that is the hardest part and I’m by no means a shining example but it is only half an hour a day and finding it has been easier some days than others.
I shall keep you posted on future news on my Slendertone toning experience

Chris Week Three with Slendertone System Abs
They have a BMI machine or Body Mass Index machine at my gym now, so I tried it out on Friday – BMI of 27.5, which for my height is a little over weight, I should be between 20 and 25. But at least I now have another way to gauge how I am doing.
I hit the gym 3 days last week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but since I have hurt my back I have not really been doing to much, but I am now 13 stone 9. I used the belt everyday last week apart from Friday, I am still using programme 6, which is very intense at Level 55 I must say.
I have seen a difference this last week, I have noticed that I am tensing the muscles in my stomach a lot during the day and have had a few comments from friends over the weekend that I look slimmer.
I will do another BMI and weight test on Friday when I got to the gym.
Welcome Stephen, our brand new Slendertone System Abs Tester- Week One
My main motivation for using the Slendertone belt is getting ready for the summer. I consider myself to be a ‘slim’ person but am in search of a toned stomach. When I first heard of this piece of equipment I couldn’t see how I would benefit, I figured it was a way of losing weight, when I was told it is a ‘toning’ belt I became a lot more interested.
I am currently a very active person, I play football three times a week as well as various other sports but I would really like to get onto the beach this year with not only a flat stomach but a toned one too. Hopefully over the next few weeks I will begin to see the change I desire.
One of the biggest appeals is that I can fit Slendertone System Abs in with my busy lifestyle, I intend to use the toning belt when cooking an evening meal, tying the two activities together will guarantee I use the belt regularly. My next update will be following my first use of the belt, at this stage I am very excited about the potential and cant wait to get started!
Progress with Slendertone System Arms
Wow, that’s all I can say about the Slendertone Arms belt!
This product really worked hard on my arms. I could feel Slendertone System Arms belt work on my muscles…arm muscles I thought I never had! It felt like a workout type/massage. Like all their toning belts, I’ve used so far, It’s really easy to work out and the instructions are clear. They recommend you use the belt five times a week and they include a 30 day planner/diary to help manage your progress.
I have not seen any significant difference yet, but I hope by the end of Feb I can see some positive progress. Like Chris, I’m on a diet and trying to build up my fitness and lose weight. Toning is equally important for me as well, so that’s where I hope Slendertone can work its magic.
For my first time using the toning belt, I had it on for about 30 minutes on level 23. I may take it up a couple of notches and see how I go this evening.
I can’t wait to banish those bingo wings!
More later.
Chris’ progress with Slendertone System Abs
Been using the Slendertone abs for 5 days now, had my first day off yesterday – Slendertone recommend that you use it no more that 5 times a week. I used it Tuesday at work, Wednesday at home, Thursday was a my rest day, Friday at work (I am actually using the belt while I am typing this), I will have a day off on Saturday (off to the Boat Show at ExCel) and probably do a session on Sunday after the gym.
So I started the week using programme number 7, but now have moved to programme 6, which is 30 mins rather than 40, but I have changed the intensity level from 17 up to a more powerful 40.
I have seen a slight improvement in my shape and generally size, I was 41 inches around my stomach at the start of the week, now I am only 39. I have done 2 sessions in the gym this week so far, both cardio sessions, but I will be hitting the gym tonight for a weights session and probably Sunday as well.
See you next week.
Chris starts the Slendertone System Abs Trial for 2008
Started with the Slendertone system today whilst at work, feels a little strange putting it on, and getting a few comments from people, but think they are just interested more than anything. Still very keen to find out what this is all about and what results I can get from it.
I am in for a 40 min session at the moment, with the setting at 17. Lets see what happens.
My main reason for using the Slendertone systems is that I have been recommended it by a friend and it can fit in as part of my fitness programme. I am basically trying to loose around 2 stone in weight to help with my sailing (some of the boats I race on have a Max Crew weight), but also wanted to trim up. I use my local gym 3 or 4 times a week but have not been able to do much work on my abs, with the Slendertone system I can aid what other work I am doing in the gym.
I started back at the gym last week (7th Jan), did 3 sessions last week, 2 cardio and 1 weights.

A world of Slendertone- For bums, arms and tums
I was browsing the Internet yesterday and I was just having a look at what people have said on-line about getting fit and into shape and using toning belts as part of their everyday life. I’ve read mixed reviews and most have them have been actually been really positive.
I was amazed to find, whilst looking at the offical Slendertone Product range, how much they cater for all people, men and woman, with all different shapes and most sizes to help create that desired beautiful body and make our dream come true (with hardwork, time and patience).
I had a look at their range as well and they offer toning for all those problem areas for men and woman. I’ve only ever used the System Abs and I did see the effects after eight weeks. I plan to use it more after my holiday away as I have a wedding, Christmas Party and New Year city break to look forward to. I may not have the flat tummy like in the model shots but it does flatten and make my tummy curvier and more shapely. I’ll also be exercising three time a week.
My partner is also quite keen on investing in a Slendertone Active for men. Slendertone say with Slendertone Active, the aim is to “combine regular exercise such as walking with the personalised Slendertone Active programme and get fit, burn fat and improve your abdominal strength. If you find it hard to get motivated or don’t see enough results for your exercise effort then this is for you.” You can also download a free training diary to help monitor and log your progress, which i think was quite useful. Have any of you used this?
There are a few other products I’d like to try to help my bingo wings and pert that bottom, but when I get back I’ll get back into System Abs before I start investing in any other products. Have any of you tried any other Slendertone products? How have you found using them?
Slendertoning and Exercising: The great benefits
I had some pleasing comments the other day at my birthday party, thanks to the Slendertone System Abs and aerobic exercise! Numerous friends who I had not seen in a while, mentioned I looked more toned and in good shape which was really nice to hear. I’m curvy and still have a long way to go but my waist is definitely smaller.
Sam has also seen a significant difference in his stomach shape and muscle tone. He’s been using it religiously and his stomach is rock hard…and it really is! So it’s probably worthwhile for those guys who want to get a fitter and flatter waist.
I’m on my holidays soon but I’ll be definitely be continuing with Slendertone and exercising, especially in time and in tip top shape for all those Christmas parties and a friends wedding. For me its not always about how you look, but its about how I feel and over the last couple of months, I’ve really seen a difference.
Most of us are surprisingly still at it with our Slendertone toning belt. Two of my friends are quite interested in trying the product as well since I started it, so they will be blogging soon. It looks like we are developing a club for all those Slendertone enthusiasts!
