Davina’s first week using Slendertone Abs
The Slendertone came in a compact box and I found it really simple to put together. After charging the battery, I was ready to start.
I was a bit nervous trying the slendertone for the first time but I had nothing to fear. I like the fact it starts at zero, and you just build up the instensity as you feel comfortable. I go to the gym a few times a week so I was able to get up to 65 (out of 90) in the frist week.
I felt like it was toning the olique muscles better than I do with the standard sit up. What i like most about it so far is that it’s hands free and you can just carry on with what you were doing. I usually use mine when I am getting ready for bed.
I feel good for using it, and I am going to the gym as well, so it’s hard to tell exactly what’s attributable to the gym vs slendetone but I am feeling good about my stomach this month- so I will definitely be continuing to use it.”
Frederica’s first & second week using Slendertone Abs
Sorry this post is combined. Started using Slendertone two weeks ago for 5 days and 2 days stop and now five days again
I felt slim on the upper part of my belly under the breast but the girth still the same. The product is fine, light and easy to use even if when I increase the intensity, the sensation goes a bit painful.
I ‘m going to the gym three times a week and actually fallowing a diet and some slendertone advice (checked on the website). I will keep you posted.
Owens first week using Slendertone Abs
Ok – first impressions… anything that can stop me having to do sit-ups is a pretty fantastic innovation for me. Been out of training for a few months after an accident and just don’t have the motivation to get back into it. The new belt is slim and comfortable and fits under clothes really easily. I like the recharger too, handy and at least you know that it’s powered at all times. The pads were easy to fit and I was up and running about 5 minutes after opening the box. Put it on and sat down and watched TV…easiest workout ever!
Cathy’s first week using Slendertone Abs
When I received the slendertone belt I wasn’t entirely convinced at first because I’m not a huge fan of electrocution (reminded me slightly of the TENS machine I used in labour, which was not the best memory…). However, having tried it I have to say I am finding the sensation more enjoyable than I thought I would – it doesn’t hurt at all, and it’s very controllable and it’s quite nice to think that it may be helping me tone up my flabby abs whilst not really expending any effort at all. I particularly like the fact that you can use it anytime – I started off using it whilst watching TV on the sofa, and have graduated to using it last thing at night when I’m reading my book in bed…so very flexible! I also like the fact that you can enjoy a glass of wine at the same time (though I’m not sure that is recommended as part of the healthy diet plan so wouldn’t recommend doing this every time you use it!).
I’m trying to increase the intensity each time I use it – am only up to about 25 at the minute as I am a bit of a wuss but I think you get used to the sensation more and more each time you use it, and it’s nice to think that it’s doing some good. I haven’t yet had the aching feeling the next day so probably need to turn it up another notch (it’s probably struggling to penetrate through my flabby belly to the actual muscle beyond at the moment…good luck to it!!).
So, early days yet, but I’m definitely going to carry on using it this week and increase the intensity more to see if I can start to see a difference.
Riona’s first week of using Slendertone Abs
The first day I used the Slendertone it took a bit of getting used to. It feel tingly and unnatural at first and also very cold on my skin but after a few minutes it felt fine. My tummy was grumblng a little, but I think that was just because I was hungry! I set it at 20-20 and just watched TV for the 20 minute session. Afterwards I felt grand, but I did notice later on in the evening and the next morning that my stomach muscles felt a little sore, as if I’d been doing sit-ups.
I’ve been using it now for just over a week and so far so good, sometimes I feel slightly itchy under the central pad but it doesn’t really bother me. I’ve got to 40-40 at this stage and am hoping to move up to 50-50 tonight. Its been very convenient, I’ve mainly used it while relaxing on the couch. It’s too soon yet to say if it’s working but fingers crossed!
Eddie’s first week of using Slendertone Abs
I’ve just finished my first week of using the Slendertone. I’m happy with the progress so far, I think it’s making a visible difference. It felt a little strange at first, but I actually quite like the sensation of it. I’m using the slendertone in conjunction with some daily exercises (push ups) so it’s difficult to tell exactly how much the slendertone is contributing, but overall I’m happy – we’ll see how things are at the end of the four weeks trial!
Denise’s first week using Slendertone
I have been using Slendertone for 4 days now and all is going well.To start with I followed the instructions and used it for 20mins on the first day, then a rest day, 25mins on day 3 and yesterday I knew I was going to be on my feet all day so I put the belt on in the morning and used it throughout the day ( maybe five 20mins sessions )
Using the Slendertone certaintly gives me the feeling of wanting to lose weight and it gives me the stimulus to do so. I am Apx. 5feet 6inches and I weigh 9st 12lbs. I could lose a half a stone and tone up so I am hoping this will help me.
Suzanne’s first week of using the Slendertone Abs system
This is much more efficient than the Flex Abs where the battery compartment was very awkward and difficult to put in and take out the batteries. You could feel the signals much stronger. I haven’t used the Slender Tone Flex Abs for a couple of years
First day I found it irritates my skin and feel abit sore. As the days progressed it has disappeared. I can’t see any improvement first week which is expected.
Joanna’s first week using Slendertone Abs
Day 1
Intensity: Start 10. Mostly at 15. Max: 19 (for last five minutes)
Day one of use was delayed by me being confused by all the diagrams and instructions. Not that they were unclear, but more that I was slightly nervous at the thought that I was about to send electrical currents through my body. Took photographs of my stomach front and side on to compare results after 4 weeks!
Applied the belt and turned the unit on; had to reposition the belt and pads after a minute or two, as they were tingling down my hips, then increased the intensity as I couldn’t feel much.
Did a 20 minute ‘workout’ and lo and behold, upon removing the pad, discovered that all my muscles felt like they’d been worked out. No redness, but some residual tingling on my hip bone where the pad had originally been incorrectly placed. Am very curious to try again tomorrow!!
Day 2
Pumped up the intensity to 22 to start and 24 for halfway through and 25 for the last five minutes.
The sensation is much stronger on the left hand side of my body than the right… not sure why this could be? Once again, after the 20 minutes, the surface of my stomach is a little bit itchy. And I can feel that my muscles have been used, much more so than yesterday.
Days 3-5 -
By Day 5 I used the Slendertone at 32 for the full 20 minutes!
The first week has been good; am certain I can feel a difference already and I think next week I will go for longer than 20 minutes – or alternatively, (once my unit has recharged) use the Slendertone at a higher rate more consistently to push myself. I’m used to the sensation now, so see no reason not to!
Sheila’s first week using Slendertone Abs
Sunday – Set up system and attached pads ready to go, then realised that I hadn’t charged it up! Put it on charge for three house and did first session. Didn’t feel anything.
Monday – Did second session on programme 1 as instructed in the instruction book, but still didn’t feel anything.
Tuesday – Decided to up the ante – and put it on programme 3 – felt a tingling sensation in waves, so guess I need it a bit higher.
Wednesday – Did the higher programme again and increased the strength during the session, could now really feel it. Skin a bit pink afterwards.
Thursday – Had a rest day as felt a slight ache in my stomach muscles
Friday – Really felt it at this session – and am beginning to think it might make a difference.
Have measured myself but no difference in waist yet. However it is having a good phsycological effect in that I am eating less and also doing power walks, so the whole lot combined should definitely have a positive effect!
Saturday – Another rest day as muscles felt sore!
