Ashley disappointed he didn’t use the Slendertone belt more often, noticeable difference after running though!
Posted by Ashley
The 4 week trial is up and I am a bit disappointed that I didn’t get more use out of the belt in the last week and a half. A busy couple of weeks unfortunately dropped the belt to the bottom of the to do list, even at work I have forgotten to wear the belt whilst at the desk.
The most encouraging signs of toning improvement were seen after running, the morning after I usually ached more then usual. I think it makes sense to develop the belt around general exercise because the body is working harder and developing the muscles more. I found sitting at my desk with the toning belt on didn’t feel like it was doing as much compared to standing (or running) with the body in an upright position.
I haven’t developed a full on six pack but in the limited time I have used the belt my muscles have strengthen. If I religiously used the belt 4 times a day I am confident I would have seen better results. Also, with the football season & training starting again I have found it hard muster the enthusiasm. I think the belt would suit someone who does limited sports activity but keen to get fit and start doing more.
The Slendertone System is extremely easy and quick to set up each time – cannot fault the products design, functionality or help guides.
Rachael’s final thoughts on Slendertone System-Abs
Posted by Rachael
The slendertone belt was beneficial in the way that your abs felt toned after use, but I think you have to think of it as more of an accessory. I have used it in conjunction with my normal exercise routine and have felt overall more toned from it.
I think I will definitely continue to use the belt, but in addition to regular exercise as well.
I think the trial has just confirmed my original thoughts that if you want to lose weight and tone up, there is no quick fix. You have to combine diet with exercise and implement this with your lifestyle. Exercise needs to be fun, challenging and regularly reviewed and changed. I Think it is like anything in life, if you want outstanding results you have to be prepared to put the work in!
Thanks for including me in the trial, I found it very beneficial.
Matt’s Overall Thoughts Of Slendertone System Abs

Over this last week of the trial I have had the system-abs belt on a higher setting than usual. I set the intensity to around 70 (which is more than enough for me) using program setting 5, I have also been using it twice a day.
I’ve definitely noticed more of a difference, it’s a bit more uncomfortable in the higher settings which can make it hard to concentrate when your sitting at a desk, I have also noticed that in the evening my muscles still feel like they are tensing which has obviously got to be a good thing. I’m not sure if I can see much of a physical change but I really think to get the best out of this product it is a good idea to eat healthy and do plenty of exercise. I think it’s a good idea to use the product on the days when you feel too tired to do exercise, so at least your doing something. I will continue to use the product and report back if I find that I’m making more progress on a flatter stomach!
It has been a learning experience, gone are the days when toning belts felt like they were giving you an electric shock every 5 seconds and your body convulsed uncomfortably for 30 minutes! Slendertone seem to have overcome these problems and made it a comfortable experience and something that we can use in our everyday lives.

I’m still trying to keep up my healthy regime! I still haven’t moved into the new house as yet so at the moment we are living off paper plates and without cooking facilities which isn’t ideal, it makes it very hard to prepare healthy dinners but I’m doing my best, when I’m not too stressed out I’m using the slendertone abs belt, I must admit I haven’t been using it every day, its hard to find time! Hopefully next week I can get back on track as we are supposed to be moving in tomorrow!
On the days I have used the belt I have felt an improvement and I can see a difference, but you definitely need to keep using it otherwise you start to slip back. I am still very impressed with the product.

I thought I would see how flexible my toning belt was, and whether I felt I got a better workout if I included my belt too, so I wore it running the other day, I have to say there was a big difference!
I felt constrained in the respect that the belt kept my spine very rigid, and a lot of focus went on keeping my stomach muscles strong as I ran, which in turn made me focus on my breathing more as well. I then felt inclined to do a small ab workout on my stability ball afterwards.
I also tried programme 5 with levels 40/42, my stomach is slightly sore this morning, but generally just feels toned.
Richard cranks it even to an even furthur level with Slendertone

I had to charge the Slendertone belt yesterday, the battery had done 3 weeks of at least 5 sessions a week since I started. I let the battery completely drain. Its only been 3 weeks and I can tell that my abdominal muscles have got stronger and harder when tensed. I have taken to doing 2 lots of 40 minutes on 85 – 99. I could not have done that at the start when I was doing about 60 for 20 minutes.
My Slendertone System pads are looking a bit worse for wear!
Posted by Ashley
2 weeks into the trial and my pads are looking a bit worn. The majority of use from the Slendertone System is whilst I am running so it has probably deteriorated the pads quicker then normal. The pads and belt do get pretty sweaty when exercising – I usually leave the belt and pads out to dry outside for a while until the next use. I am going to request some new pads. So far my stomach is feeling much firmer but no definition as yet! Ash over and out.
Sam gets into a routine with Slendertone System Abs

It’s now been well over a week since my first post. I have been using the Slendertone approx 5 times a week, Monday to Friday and resting at weekends. I find myself using it at work between 11-12pm every day.
The question you’re probably thinking is – has it done anything? After using the belt for a couple of weeks my stomach is definitely stronger and feels firmer. I wouldn’t say it looks much different but feels a whole lot better. For the next couple of weeks I will be pushing myself a bit harder and hoping for more definition.
….After all, we all want to look fit!
Matt’s keeping fit, Slendertoning and moving house!

I’ve been a bit slack with my “slendertoning” this weekend as I am in the middle of moving house and have been shifting a lot of boxes (all good exercise though). I did use it before the weekend and was finding it quite hard going on the higher settings, I think I still feel a slight difference although I can’t be sure. Now I’ve got the moving boxes out the way I shall be making more of an effort this week.
Slendertoning my way through EastEnders!
I was a couch potato yesterday evening, whilst watching EastEnders (an incredibly funny episode, I might add). I was in stitches caused by laughter rather than by the ab belt!
I cranked it up to intensity level 55, programme 5 for thirty minutes and I was so distracted by the drama in the Eastenders neighbourhood, I felt no discomfort and just let the Electrical Muscle Stimulation technology work those tummy muscles.
I charged the Slendertone remote control battery for the first time since I started the trial, which I think is pretty impressive. I expected these type of toning products batteries to die off very quickly, so I’ve been very impressed.
I still have not tried running with the toning belt. I’m not entirely sure I’ll feel comfortable wearing it at the gym. I had a chat with Rachael earlier. She had a go at running with it and has some feedback, which she will blog later.
