Rebecca’s Fourth Week using Slendertone Abs

I have been using slendertone for over 4 weeks now and I am still using it – that is a huge feat for me. I have to admit, I haven’t been dieting, but I have been running, and I really feel like my stomach is more defined and my hips and lower back feel tighter. Now I just need one for my thighs and arms! The one thing that is going to have to change is the sticky pads – they have lost most of their stickiness now – but that’s it. The slendertone is here to stay.

Rebecca’s third week using Slendertone Abs

Week 3 and I have increased the intensity to 80 on level 5 – alright, abs of steel! I am slightly competitive, so it is exciting to see how much I can handle. I don’t know if I can see any major results yet, but I have been quite naughty over the past few weeks with eating lots of snacks and nibbles! I think my lower back/hips have tightened up actually and I am not so worried about the dreaded “muffin-pants” look, so that’s exciting. I am normally a “seven day wonder” kind of girl, getting bored of new things quite easily, but my slendertone has not fallen into that category – it is just too easy to use it and there are absolutely no excuses. I have just signed up to run my first 5k race in September – this is going to be the summer of fitness and toning. Bring it on!

Rebecca’s second week using Slendertone Abs

Right, week two is done and I am happy to report that I used the slendertone 5 times! I’m not so happy to report that I only went for 1 short run! I had to work quite late each night and work and just could not motivate myself to get out there in the cold. Luckily there are really no excuses for not strapping the belt on – watching tv, making dinner and even eating dinner! My flatmates found it hilarious at first but now I am sharing my slendertone with two of them – male and female. We are going to be one sexy bunch when summer finally comes! I am hooked on this thing.

Rebecca’s first week with Slendertone

I was so excited to receive my new slendertone in the post that I charged it up straight away and tested it out the next morning. It was such a hilarious/strange/ticklish feeling to begin with, I couldn’t stop laughing! I have never felt anything like it before! You start to get used to it pretty quickly and can really feel your muscles tightening and flexing, and can’t help but think that this really might work over time. That’s all the motivation I need! Since that first morning, I have used it every single day and because you don’t want to have a toned stomach and wobbly butt, I have been out power walking four times as well. The sun has been shining this week and summer must be on its way – I’m looking forward to really giving this slendertone trial a really good shot, and hopefully not being scared to bring the bikini out of retirement in a few months time. I must admit, I have had this week off work so have found it easier to find the time to exercise and throw on the slendertone, but I am starting a new job next week and don’t know whether that will change things?
