John’s second week using Slendertone Abs
This week I really upped the ante, I started off on 50 and went up to 85(which was a little uncomfortable but manageable). I have found that my best setting is around 70-75. I am using it for 20 mins in the morning before work and then a further half an hour in the evening. I am also exercising more walking for around an hour a day around 3 times a week. Slendertone on its own is great but I reckon if its used in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and a bit of cardio it will work fantastically. Ill be back next week for another update!
Aoife’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Finally worked my way up to 68! Was very proud of this achievement as I’d previously been whincing when reaching 37/38! Used it six days in a row and did notice a difference. My stomach felt tighter and appeared slightly flatter. I find the best time to use it is when Im relaxing reading a book or watching something on tv. I prefer to sit or lie unmoved for the thirty minutes. Unforunately my belt for the previous two days has been displaying the warning sign and I am unsure as to why. The first time it did this the vibrations did not feel at all comfortable so I stopped the session. However I used it the next day and had a perfect session. This is when I achieved my highest level of 68. The warning sign triggered again yesterday and I was unable to begin the session. I will try again tonight to see. I am disappointed bout this because I felt like I was on a role and could definitely notice a difference.
Hilary’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Started using my belt just before my holiday so took it with me. Each morning I took a longer walk to buy fresh bread for breakfast wearing my belt – much to my boyfriend’s amusement! By the time we sat down on the balcony to eat the time was up. Now up to 30 minutes at 80 and definitely think it’s working. Prefer to go for a walk when I’m wearing it – feel like I’m getting twice the exercise. Can certainly see myself using it 4-5 times a week – it’s easy and it works.
Caroline’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Started the week well, but then was away from home for three nights for work and the routine fell apart. I read that someone else has been using their belt at work and I wonder if that would work for me. I’m not sure about using it at my desk, but maybe take 30 mins at lunchtime to do it. I tried on the trousers that have been too tight round the waist and they seem to fit a bit better already so I do want to persevere. I seem to have got stuck on the strength side though and can’t seem to get past 50 so think I need to focus on that a bit for the next week.
Frederica’s first & second week using Slendertone Abs
Sorry this post is combined. Started using Slendertone two weeks ago for 5 days and 2 days stop and now five days again
I felt slim on the upper part of my belly under the breast but the girth still the same. The product is fine, light and easy to use even if when I increase the intensity, the sensation goes a bit painful.
I ‘m going to the gym three times a week and actually fallowing a diet and some slendertone advice (checked on the website). I will keep you posted.
Owens second week using Slendertone Abs
Well I’ve done three sessions in the first week and no rippeling abs as yet, so we’ve established the Slendertone isn’t actually a ‘miracle’ machine. I think there is definite progress though. The workouts were so easy. I have the belt in a drawer beside the couch. When I sit down infront of the box in the evening I just strap it out and away I go. I’m still at a low enough setting, but I can feel the muscles contract with each cycle.
Trying to follow the plan as closely as possible. I’ve upped the sessions to 5 a week and am nudging up the levels. It’s hard to resist whacking it up to full power but so far the will power is keeping me at bay! Maybe it’s the knowledge that the muscles are being used or maybe it works that quickly but I definitely feel like my stomach is firmer.
Not rushing out to buy all new jeans just yet but, two weeks in and I’m impressed!!
Mark’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Just finished week 2 and all seems to be going well, think it is helping trim the old waistline away, think I might be putting a claim in for clothes alterations. Using the machine about 2 times aday and find it no problem, on the way in and out of work, I find it the easiest way to keep track. I found the level wasn’t hard enough so I decided to go to level 4 and work from there, up to 80 / 85 on the intensity and finding a decent workout, but not overly killing me. I’ve had a few issues with trying to get the position of the unit right in the last couple of days, but I’ve found to put it low on my stomach and then move the side panels up, it works will, might have to move the inner pads in a bit. Finding the muscles are getting stronger and can knock out a fair few reps when I’m training well.
Aiming to up the level to 90 this week and see how it goes.
Denise’s second week using Slendertone Abs
End of second week now and I am still very happy with my Slendertone belt. I have found it very easy to use especially when I know I will be standing for a while eg. Ironing or going for a walk. It is effortless and painless.
I don’t see any major results yet but I believe it will take 4 weeks. and I am certainly looking forward to that. Just the fact I am using it makes me more aware of what I eat. But I’m afraid Easter got in the way and a few nibbles on Easter eggs have not helped.
So here’s hoping for another succusful slendertoning week.
Sheila’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Sunday – Felt like speeding things up a bit so did two sessions to-day one in the morning and one in the evening. Am now upping the speed and can really feel it.
Monday – Had a rest day to-day as it felt a bit painful around my ribs – think I might have overdone it a bit yesterday.
Tuesday – Did my session to-day on quite a high programme, I am getting used to the sensation – my skin was quite red afterwards and a bit itchy – I find the sticky pads a bit yucky.
Wednesday – Am persisting – did another session to-day, but my measurements have not changed. Am also power walking to keep the momentum going.
Thursday – Had a rest day.
Friday – Did a strong session to-day. Am determined to get a smaller waist for my upcoming holiday.
Saturday – Have very achy muscles to-day so had a rest day and a very hot bath which helped with the aches. Still, as they say, no pain, no gain.
Joanna’s second week using Slendertone Abs
Day 1:
I am up to a 25 minute session this week and have increased the intensity to 31 – which is the maximum I’ve tried so far.
At 31, it felt like the Slendertone was doing something at last; making me feel as if I’d been a bit of a wimp last week! I could actually feel my muscles contracting, like it says in the booklet. The 25 minutes passed quickly; gradually began to enjoy the sensation of the stomach muscles contracting. Felt itchy upon removal of belt. Am certain I can notice firmer abdominal muscles.
Day 2:
25 mins at 41 intensity…. Can really feel the right side tingling now; in a way that it hasn’t been as strong throughout. Not sure if my machine is a bit faulty? It’s hard to gauge whether I just couldn’t feel it before because the intensity wasn’t high enough… will keep on trucking!
Day 3: Wow; it really tingled down the right hand side today – took me by surprise! I had it at number 42.
Am – incidentally – quite curious as to how the pads work with the watery gel. Such an interesting substance. Am definitely noticing firmer muscles, particularly down the sides (hmm, are these called ‘lats’?). Quite remarkable; there have NEVER been any there before – well, no defnition at least!
Day 4: Set at 42 again.
Day 5: Rest day
Day 6: Set at 42 for 25 minutes. Today I wore the Slendertone while I was racing around in preparation for going out. Interestingly I noticed that as I moved, the Slendertone seemed to ‘work’ the muscles with different intensities, am presuming that my own movements enhanced the work of the current.
I think that my waist is now more defined than it was. My core muscles are definitely firmer than they were.
Day 7: Rest day.
