Chris starts on the Slendertone System Abs- the beer belly is trying to fight its way back

Ok so I have not posted for a fair few weeks, also not really been using the Slendertone Belt either, been a bit busy moving house and being ill.

Anyway, I found my Slendertone systems abs belt last night unpacking a few things at home, decided that I would have to start using it again. I have noticed that I have been losing shape and muscle tone on my stomach – that’s right the beer belly is trying to fight its way back.

So this morning I have used the system for 2 sessions, both times on programme 6 on setting 60, so quiet a hard session. First session was first thing this morning when having breakfast; second session was when I got to work this morning.

I am still going to the gym, but finding it’s getting really busy, but there is a new gym opening up in my town, so going to check it out soon. Also I have been running a fair amount over the last week. I have a group of friends that have started running each night after work. Will give you an update next week on progress.

Planning to use the belt everyday this week, I am sure there will be some changes, I can feel better muscle tone since this morning!

Welcome entry: Karate Kid tries out Slendertone System Abs

I am more than 25 and less than 50 but still only 21. I try to keep fit and well by playing 5-a-side football, salsa dancing and now back in to my karate. Also at home I have a total gym and a cross trainer and at the weekend we try not to use the car where possible and walk. Keeping fit and trim as you get older is difficult, I like my food and beer but trying to cut back to help.

I have seen these devices advertised many times and always wondered if they would work and be better than working out and getting hot. So now is may chance to see.

We should see results in 4 weeks, we are off on holiday in ten weeks so should be looking good on the beach.

I received my Slendertone System today and initially thought it was more than an abs toner and that there would be other attachments for other areas. The instructions are quite clear but it might be worth considering marking the connections so it is easier to ensure which way up they should be connected. Also the clip is a little fiddly.

The battery is now fully charged so I will start the programme tomorrow. Another point are the different programmes to choose from and what to select, I consider my self fit and with strong stomach muscles so would perhaps go for the upper programmes but should you start at the bottom and work up? Also maybe the programmes should say how they equate to a work out ie programme 1 equivalent to doing 100 sit-ups.

We shall see, no karate tonight as my instructor has gone to America to train, any one else interested in martial arts.

Michael’s progress with the Slendertone System Abs

Ive always suffered with a little excess fat on my belly, I used it 3 times a week and within the first 3 weeks i noticed a slight change, so I’ve continued to use for almost two months now, and I’m real happy with my body now, my belly has toned with increased definition (thanks to Slendertone System Abs!) and I would strongly reccomend it to anybody wanting to tone up for a holiday or summer now that the warmer weather is supposedly on the way!!

Stephen progress with Slendertone System Abs

Not much to update from my last post, I am now on week 7 and am liking the effects of the Slendertone belt. I am still a long way off where I want to be but I am heading in the right direction. One interesting update is that I have now changed the pads on the belt for the first time. Having done this when I first used the unit it proved to be a much simpler process and although the pads are very sticky on both sides I fitted them without problems.

With the start of the new cricket season I am hoping my increased strength in my stomach should improve my core stability and lead to less back pains when bowling.

Week 5- Stephen’s progress with Slendertone

I am continuing to use the toning belt, and beginning to see definition. I must admit to having a few days off due to movingmale-system-abs.jpg house but even this does not seem to have effected my progress.

I have begun to do sit ups while the belt is working (on the odd occasion) should I feel energetic enough. This gives me an even better workout which provides the muscle burn which only comes on through using the belt at high levels (70-80 currently for me).

More progress to follow on my progress with Slendertone System Abs.

Stephen’s abs feel tighter with Slendertone

I am now very used to using the Slendertone belt and quite enjoying it!  I am still not seeing effects but my abs do feelmale-system-abs.jpg considerably tighter.  I also think that my muscles are gradually strengthening as I am able to have the unit on at much higher levels for longer periods of time.

I am using the Slendertone System Abs belt on a regular basis on programme 6.  I begin for the first 5 minutes on level 40-50 as it seems my muscles need to warm up, however after this period I am able to gradually increase the intensity to 60-70.  I feel 30 minutes is long enough however I am thinking about adding an extra session to this per day, one question I have is will this help?  Does increasing the intensity and wearing the Slendertone toning belt for longer give me better results? I’d welcome any feedback for any of those using Slendertone.

I will update next week on my progress.

Michael combines Slendertoning, Gym and Detox altogether!

Well another week done and I now feel more in the routine and have disciplined myself into regular Slendertoning Beltmale-system-abs.jpg sessions. This I think is the solution into getting results.

I have upped the level I am on to improve the results I achieve although I am aware that this is a marathon as apposed to a sprint and the results will come with consistent use.

This weekend I plan to detox completely, nothing bad will pass my lips, going to work hard at the Gym until I can do more and use the Slendertone Toning Belt at the same time. I plan to “feel the burn”.

I’ll let you know how this goes

Chris champions on with Slendertone System Abs

male-system-abs.jpgThis week I took the Slendertone system abs into work with me, I used it every day apart from Wednesday. I am now doing to programmes a day, starting off with programme 5 on about 55 turning it up during the 30 min session to about 66. Then later in the day I will do programme 7 which is less intense but lasts 40 mins, I generally have the belt on 60 for this session.

I normally give you a quick run down of weight and BMI, but I can this week as the BMI machine I use at my gym is broken, so will update you next week. I hit the gym on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week. I have now started to up all the times and weights that I am using, which I did find very hard on Saturday and can still feel the effects today.

Over the weekend I did have a few people comment that I am looking thinner, which is good, when I told people what I am doing they were interested to find out if the belts work, after showing them where I put it and how it works there were comments about the definition that I know have compared to the beer belly I did have. There is still some work to go though. I think I need to loose about a stone before I am at my perfect weight for my height.

Stephen progress with Slendertone System Abs

male-system-abs.jpgI have been using the Slendertone belt for two weeks now. Day one was an interesting experience, putting on the ultra sticky pads and then strapping this to my stomach was strange but with the instructions it was very clear how to assemble the unit. One issue I did have is in the placing of the belt. When I first used the belt I was unsure what the sensation should be so I believe in the first couple of wears I had the belt slightly too low. Now I am a more regular user I feel more comfortable and am beginning to feel the effects.

I started on program one at 40 but after a week increased this to program 5 at 60. I felt that program1, although giving me a workout wasn’t feeling like I do following a set of sit-ups.

So far I have not noticed a massive difference although I am enjoying the feeling of a workout a day, I will keep you posted once I have completed 3 weeks.

Michael’s challenge with Slendertone System Abs

male-system-abs.jpgI have found that this week has been a real challenge with me Slendertone System Abs.

I’ve got to be disciplined a lot more than I have been but still found time to use it twice. Regular use will result in better, more consistent results which long term is what I am after. I am using the belt at quite a high level for which I am proud of, as someone once said “No pain, no gain”. Over the weekend it is my intention to squeeze a couple of toning belt sessions in along with the Gym and football on Sunday morning.

Will keep you post of future news next week on my slendertone toning belt journey to a trimmer me!!
