Davina’s third week using Slendertone Abs

I have been on holiday two weeks out of the last month so I have used the slendertone slightly less. It’s quite compact so I could have brought it, but it’s something I would rather do in private really. Although it’s not the most flattering accessory it was working and I felt quite confident in my bikini. The battery life is good so you don’t have to charge it very often, which I like. Now that I’m back from holiday I’m going to get back into the routine of using it in the evenings before bed.

Catherines Fourth week using Slendertone Abs

Well Slendertone is back in my life and Im really enjoying it again. I really missed it and I am looking forward to the results as after only one week back I can see my shape gradually coming back to where it was before my Slendertone break when I was unwell.

I am excited about the coming weeks as I can see it is making a difference to my life is general and not just my shape. I will definitely continuing until about eight weeks and then see where I go from there.

Motivational ideas for getting into Slendertone

I have been a bit bad and not used the Slendertone System Abs for the last few days.  I managed to get the level back up to 7 – I find 40 minutes a much better work out and the reps are more intense. I feel this is better by far. I am currently at 85 on the power level and I find this quite comfortable and I am aiming to do 80 minutes to make up for being a bit slack. I am not sure it works like this but if anyone has any feedback or motivational ideas that would be great! Thanks!

I’ll let you know I’m getting on with my progress with Slendertone

Christine begins the Slendertone System Abs

Well, full of good intentions, I charged up my Slendertone, put it on, mucked up the settings, took it off, then put it on again…thankfully, this time it worked.

I wore it whilst doing some housework, and didn’t really notice I was wearing it.

The second time I wore it, it was the same, although, a couple of hours later I felt a metallic taste in my mouth, similar to that I’ve felt when having to hold an electric rod during facials. (there is probably a proper word for this, but bear with me).

Since then, my life has been somewhat chaotic, so I havent put the belt on for two days, despite my best intentions. However, this weekend, I intend to get back on track

Salsa Chick is slacking on the Slendertone

Uh oh – I don’t know what’s happened but I’ve just totally got out of the routine of using my Slendertone toning belt.

It’s now 2 months since I’ve used my Flex Max in earnest and though it stares me in the face every night I still haven’t got the oomph to use it.  The intention is there but it’s not being put into practice.

Having said all that, I used it once a few nights ago and was very pleased that when I turned it on it started at Programme 7 and I was able to cope with that although the intensity was about half of what I’d become used to on the previous programmes.

Pippa’s progress with the Slendertone

i’ve not used the belt again for quite a while! I went away to Scotland and my pads completely lost their stickiness. It’s amazing what a difference they actually make, as it was really painful to use the belt, i had to turn it off after 11 minutes of the programme! Annoyingly, being in the middle of nowhere, there were no shops that sold the replacement pads, so another week went by without using the belt!

I am REALLY disappointed by how expensive the pads are! £12.99! Considering how much the belt costs and you would have to by the programmer separately etc (which works out at over £120), to charge that price for 3 bits of sticky rubber, it seems a complete waste of money to use the belt. you would have to have a serious issue against going to the gym or doing your own sit-ups for the length of time it takes to see any effects from the belt itself. how negative of me! but maybe just being realistic for the average Jo!

I will however continue to use the belt – curiosity in Slendertone’s claims pull more than my arguments against it!

Salsa Chick’s progress with the Slendertone Flex Max

Well another week has flown by and my Slendertone Flex Max has had the least use yet… tut, tut.

We were off for the weekend, so eager to get my toning in I popped the toning belt on to use whilst on the car journey. Unfortunately the battery slowly died on that session which negated the use, so that meant I missed 2 days of using the belt. Having said that I was impressed with how long the first set of batteries lasted, and they provide you with a second set too.

Then hayfever kicked in and I felt too lousy to use it the next day. But last night I was back on track; although I had a Salsa dancing class to teach straight after work I managed to put the belt on for the car journey home. I’m on programme 5, intensity up to 107 and feeling the crunch – lovely. Still not sure it’s working but I am a bit trimmer despite my weight being higher than I’d like.

Is Slendertone a scam?

Is Slendertone a scam?

I was reading some of the reviews on Slendertone today and some of them claim it’s a scam. Some of them say “Slendertone is a waste of your money!,” some say “don’t bother getting a toning belt, exercise will give you that flat tummy.”

Most of us in this blog have trialed Slendertone belts on our arms, bums and tums and we all have had different experiences. Reflecting on those who have trialed the toning belt, it certainly is not the miracle cure to get super slim, however it does contribute to body toning. It’s also a convenient toning belt which can be used almost anywhere and everywhere.

You need to complement the use of the Slendertone by also working out. As long as you are regularly burning off more calories than you are consuming then the results are very good and your abs do become solid. It’s hard work and dedication is required!

What do you think of Slendertone? Is it a scam? Share your experiences with us.

And here is the Slendetone male ad…

I think the brand new Slendertone ads reflect how us men or woman have very busy lifestyles, and how convenient  this toning belt really is.  The great thing about Slendertone as we have seen we most of our testers is the flexibility of using it everywhere and anywhere. Great ad!
