Welcome Michael to the Slendertone System Abs

To say I was sceptical would probably be an understatement and the shock of the cold pads my skin for first time made me think; was this really for me?

However a week and half in and I’m starting to see the impact of the Slendertone toning belt, I’ve got slightly more definition, at least that’s what I hope it is.

I’m using the Slendertone belt coupled with going to the gym on the other 2-3 days of the week. Hoping to get into shape ready for what I hope will be a warmer summer than we had last year. I have found it useful when I’ve had spare time waiting for dinner to cook, whilst watching television, almost any spare time when not doing anything could be set aside as ‘Toning Time’ and it can all be over in an episode of Eastenders and you feel better for giving your stomach a work out when perhaps we’ve all been guilty of switching off or putting it off to another day. Like anything you have to put the effort in to get the benefit out and you have to discipline yourself into getting into a routine and for a lot of people that is the hardest part and I’m by no means a shining example but it is only half an hour a day and finding it has been easier some days than others.

I shall keep you posted on future news on my Slendertone toning experience

Progress with Slendertone System Arms

Wow, that’s all I can say about the Slendertone Arms belt!

This product really worked hard on my arms. I could feel Slendertone System Arms belt work on my muscles…arm muscles I thought I never had! It felt like a workout type/massage. Like all their toning belts, I’ve used so far, It’s really easy to work out and the instructions are clear. They recommend you use the belt five times a week and they include a 30 day planner/diary to help manage your progress.

I have not seen any significant difference yet, but I hope by the end of Feb I can see some positive progress. Like Chris, I’m on a diet and trying to build up my fitness and lose weight. Toning is equally important for me as well, so that’s where I hope Slendertone can work its magic.

For my first time using the toning belt, I had it on for about 30 minutes on level 23. I may take it up a couple of notches and see how I go this evening.

I can’t wait to banish those bingo wings!

More later.

Chris’ progress with Slendertone System Abs

Been using the Slendertone abs for 5 days now, had my first day off yesterday – Slendertone recommend that you use it no more that 5 times a week. I used it Tuesday at work, Wednesday at home, Thursday was a my rest day, Friday at work (I am actually using the belt while I am typing this), I will have a day off on Saturday (off to the Boat Show at ExCel) and probably do a session on Sunday after the gym.

So I started the week using programme number 7, but now have moved to programme 6, which is 30 mins rather than 40, but I have changed the intensity level from 17 up to a more powerful 40.

I have seen a slight improvement in my shape and generally size, I was 41 inches around my stomach at the start of the week, now I am only 39. I have done 2 sessions in the gym this week so far, both cardio sessions, but I will be hitting the gym tonight for a weights session and probably Sunday as well.

See you next week.

Slendertone System Arms and Abs…the trial begins……..

Hi all,

I can’t wait to banish those bingo wings and get rid of my spare tyres…..with my Slendertone equipment.

I’ll be joining Chris in the trialing Slendertone. I’ll be toning my tummy with Slendertone System Abs and my bingo wing (my arms that is) with Slendertone System Arms. These are common problem areas for most woman in the country, having read all the mags, forums and blogs. I’ve used the Slendertone System Abs before and it really does work but I just got lazy really after I came back from my holiday. Now I’ve got a Slendertone buddy, Chris, and possibly my friend Vicky, I can get going again!

The great thing about the Slendertone toning belts is that the main remote controller fits all the toning belt garments, so you don’t need to buy the whole package again (which is cheaper).

I start the trial this evening. Like Chris, I’ll be going to the gym about three to four time as week and I have a personal training programme in place. I’m getting married next May so its so important for me to get back into shape for the big day.

Do any of you use the Slendertone System Arms or System Abs, I’d love to hear how you have got on and if you have any hints and tips for me?

Cheers

Chris starts the Slendertone System Abs Trial for 2008

Started with the Slendertone system today whilst at work, feels a little strange putting it on, and getting a few comments from people, but think they are just interested more than anything. Still very keen to find out what this is all about and what results I can get from it.

I am in for a 40 min session at the moment, with the setting at 17. Lets see what happens.

My main reason for using the Slendertone systems is that I have been recommended it by a friend and it can fit in as part of my fitness programme. I am basically trying to loose around 2 stone in weight to help with my sailing (some of the boats I race on have a Max Crew weight), but also wanted to trim up. I use my local gym 3 or 4 times a week but have not been able to do much work on my abs, with the Slendertone system I can aid what other work I am doing in the gym.

I started back at the gym last week (7th Jan), did 3 sessions last week, 2 cardio and 1 weights.

More later

Sam’s stomach is rock hard after using Slendertone System-Abs

Posted by Sam

At first I was really sceptical when agreeing to trial this product as I’ve heard it all before! For it to be a fair trial I decided to be dedicated to a schedule and without fail during the week at work I have used my Slendertone belt.

For the first few weeks I noticed a slight strengthening of my stomach muscles but no real visual difference. After regularly using my belt and pushing myself a bit harder with the power setting I am noticing real benefits. Firstly my stomach is rock hard! I only really noticed when talking to a friend about the belt and prodding myself in the stomach. I then realised that the hard work from the previous 2 weeks had paid off. Secondly I am starting to notice the increased definition of my stomach muscles. I have no doubt that if I carry on with my routine they will look more defined. To be honest, although my 4 week trial is over I am still carrying on!

I figure that it doesn’t take much to use the belt during work and there are real benefits so why stop? I hope to write another post after another 4 weeks and let you know how I’m getting on.

Rachael runs with her Slendertone System- Abs

Posted by Rachael

I thought I would see how flexible my toning belt was, and whether I felt I got a better workout if I included my belt too, so I wore it running the other day, I have to say there was a big difference!

I felt constrained in the respect that the belt kept my spine very rigid, and a lot of focus went on keeping my stomach muscles strong as I ran, which in turn made me focus on my breathing more as well. I then felt inclined to do a small ab workout on my stability ball afterwards.

I also tried programme 5 with levels 40/42, my stomach is slightly sore this morning, but generally just feels toned.
